'He may not be white, Your Grace. But he's a big lad.' Harwin remarked as they got closer to the Hart.

'Your Grace... for the kill'. Jason offered his spear and Viserys took it. The hart bellowed and thrashed in their restraints.

'Right here, Your Grace.' A huntsman remarked showing him where to strike. The hart wailed but didn't fall 'One more time, Your Grace. A little bit to your left.' The huntsman told him so again Viserys struck. The hart shrieked before collapsing to the ground. The hunter applauded their king.

Rhaenyra watch as a white Hart came up, stared at her. a white hart was good luck, a prophecy. She didn't want it to suffer.

'No.' her voice barely a rasp but the hart understood running off. When Rhaenyra got back to the camp she had blood dried onto her clothes but she walked with confidence and elegance. She was a queen.

"Rhaenyra!" Avalon declared coming up to her, "Are you hurt? What happened?" Avalon questioned running her hands over Rhaenyra's arms.

"I'm fine Avalon."

"You look a mess." Avalon countered. She looked to Criston. "What the fuck happened?"

"I saw the white Hart." Rhaenyra told her and Avalon stared at Rhaenyra a moment longer. "I saw it."

"Oh honey... did you kill it?" Avalon questioned wiping at the blood on Rhaenyra's face.

"No... a boar attacked."

"So much for not hearing the squealing of boars." Avalon mused. "Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine Avalon.' She repeated as she walked past.

"Criston." Avalon hissed. "What the fuck happened?"

"I begged her to come back but...." Criston told her.

"But she is Rhaenyra." Avalon agreed. "Is she really alright?"

"I think so. The boar... it came out of no where but she took it down. Got up and headed back, she is a brave woman." Criston told her.

"I know she is... I just worry she holds the weight of the world on her shoulders at such a young age." Avalon told him. "Look out for her."

"I will." Criston agreed.

'You had a big day my love... are you not tired?" Avalon questioned and Aegon smiled up at her.

"Song!" Aegon declared.

"Should I get daddy to sing a song?" Avalon questioned and Aegon scrunched up his face. "I wont tell him you said that."

''Mama sing Pretty." Aegon told her.

"Oh thank you baby..." Avalon twisted her lips as she thought. "I got it, you ready?'

"Eady!' Aegon agreed as she bounced him in her arms.

'Some people prefer dogs, and some people prefer cats, some think a parakeet is sweet but that's not what I like." Avalon sung softly. "But my pet is the best yet believe me cuz it's true... That's why there's a..."

"Drago!' Aegon shouted.

"There's a Dragon in my wagon and his wagging tail is draggin," Avalon sung out squeezing his little butt. "From the wagon as I drag him down the street... There's a dragon in my wagon and I don't mean to be bragging," Avalon assured. '' 'bout the best tail wagging dragon in a wagon you could meet." Aegon clapped happily leaning into her. "Thank you thank you I'm here forever." Avalon told him kissing his little head, that was when she head a clap from the door.

"Otto." She remarked

' Did you enjoy the hunt, Your Grace?' Otto asked and Avalon turned to the door.

'Well enough.' Avalon agreed. "I would have liked to stay here and sing songs and eat cake and play with mouse but it was not my name day." Avalon remarked kissing Aegon again.

'How fared the handsome prince?'

'The ladies Lannister and Redwyne were quite taken with him.' Avalon remarked.

'As they should be. He's the future of the realm. Well, you yourself witnessed the scale of the celebration, how it's united the men. When you bore the King a son, you ended 15 years of uncertainty and doubt. Aegon, like his namesake, was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms. If Viserys were to name him heir, the realm would fete him for it.' Otto remarked but Avalon stayed silent. 'And does this not please you? Do you not want your son to be King?'

'And what mother wouldn't?' Avalon countered "What do you want Otto? Spit it out." Avalon demanded.

'You mustn't ignore the certain truth that if Rhaenyra were to step over Aegon to ascend the throne, the realm would tear itself apart.'

'They all swore obeisance to her, your house among them.' Avalon reminded.

'That was before Aegon.' Otto reminded her.

'Rhaenyra will be a good queen.'

'It wouldn't matter if she were Jaehaerys himself born again. Rhaenyra is a woman.'

'What of my son? Would you have me raise a man to steal his own sister's birthright?' Avalon countered defensively.

'It is Aegon that's being robbed. He's the firstborn son of the King. To deny that he is heir to the throne is to assail the laws of gods and men. The road ahead is uncertain, but the end is clear. Aegon will be king. You must guide Viserys towards reason. He'll never find it on his own.' Otto remarked Avalon gripped his arm in a bruising grip.

"You best learn your place." Avalon hissed. "How is Alicent? She returned home after my marriage to Viserys... I wondered why, I wondered why she spent so much time with Viserys and why you were constantly trying to marry me off." Avalon added and Otto felt the pinch of her nails digging into his skin. "Listen to me Otto." Avalon hissed. "You will learn your place or I will remove you from the capital myself." Avalon hissed.

"I'm sorry, your grace. I only wish to think of your sons future." Otto offered as her grip loosened from him.

"Don't." Avalon warned. "You have been a good... friend to Viserys..." Avalon tipped her head in contemplation. "Viserys likes you." Avalon corrected. "Don't make an enemy out of me."

"Apologies." Otto told her as he headed out.
