It started with a fake relationship [Tighnari x Cyno]

Chapter 8

A few hours had passed. Tighnari had just arrived back at his flat. As he entered his home, he found Collei asleep on the couch, so of course he didn't want to wake her up.

He decided to text Cyno to see how he was doing, since he was absent from college that day.

Tighnari sat on his bed and took out his phone. He opened Instagram and saw that Cyno was online that very moment, so it would be a good time to text him.

Tighnari: Hey how are you? Feeling any better?

Tighnari saw that Cyno opened his message after 5 seconds, but he didn't answer his text. He instead left him on read.

Had Tighnari done something wrong?

He immediately freaked out and started to overthink. What if Cyno knew that Tighnari felt that kiss in the hospital when Tighnari was "sleeping"?

What if Cyno kissed Tighnari to trick him that night?

„ Oh God he must hate me now!", Tighnari thought to himself as he started to cry.

Suddenly, there was a knock on his bedroom door. He immediately wiped his tears away.
„ Come in Collei!", he said, expecting Collei to walk in.

But in shock, Collei didn't walk into his room.

Instead, he saw Cyno standing there, holding a with a bouquet of flowers in his left hand and a gigantic teddy bear sitting next to him.

Tighnari turned bright red.
„ C-Cyno? What are you doing here? You're sick! You should rest at home!", he gasped.

Cyno walked into his room and sat on his bed.
„ I lied! I wasn't sick. I just was worried about you since the whole situation with your dad...and then you going to hospital and getting the black eye!", Cyno explained, „ So I took the day off and got you a gift!"

Tighnari felt emotional. The fact that Cyno skipped college just for him because he was worried about him.

He felt like he just wanted to cry and smile at the same time.

„ Oh Cyno...I am speechless!", Tighnari said as he started to cry.
Cyno smiled and hugged him tightly.

„ I just want you to be ok! I care a lot about you, Tighnari!", he said. Tighnari turned red.

„ Well, wanna stay over for dinner? I was planning on cooking pasta with a tomato sauce tonight for Collei and I...and you too of course, if you plan on staying!", Tighnari said.

Cyno smiled.
„ I would love that!", Cyno said smiling.

Tighnari started cooking the meal, while Cyno decided to watch some TV with Collei.

About 1 hour and 30 minutes later, the dinner was ready.
„ This meal is so delicious!", Cyno said as he tasted the pasta.
„ Your boyfriend is right! Your tomato sauce is the best!", Collei said.

Tighnari smiled.
„ Thank you, both of you!", he said.

Collei finished eating first, so the moment she had finished eating, she headed to her bedroom.
It was just Cyno and Tighnari, eating together while sitting opposite each other.

„ So, I have some good news that I've been meaning to tell you!", Cyno said after a few moments of silence.
„ That's great! What's the news?", Tighnari asked.

„ Well, I talked to Crystal today over the phone and she apologized for making me uncomfortable since I was dating you. She completely understands now and said she wants to restart with you and the 3 of us can be good friends!", Cyno said.

Tighnari smiled.
„ That's great! Now she won't be going on about how in love she is with you!", Tighnari laughed.

„ Ans now that the whole Crystal thing is cleared, I guess we can drop the stunt act and go back to being single!", Cyno said.

Tighnari's eyes opened widely. He had completely forgotten that the whole reason he and Cyno were dating was because of Crystal.

„ Oh...right!", Tighnari said in a sad tone.

„ Well is it ok if we date for 2 more weeks? If we break up this soon people might get suspicious!", Cyno said.

Tighnari felt happy that he had 2 more weeks time.
„ Yeah, that's good!", he said.

„ Great! We then will just have to tell everyone in 2 weeks that we think we're better off as friends and then we can break up!", Cyno said.
„ Sounds like a plan!", Tighnari said faking a smile.

After dinner, Cyno was planning on heading back home.
„ Thank you again for the amazing gift!", Tighnari said smiling.
„ And thank you for the amazing meal!", Cyno said.

Cyno was about to leave, when suddenly, he felt arms wrap around his waist.
Tighanri was hugging him tightly, making Cyno turn as red as a tomato a he was not expecting it.

„ Safe home!", Tighnari said.
Cyno blushed.
„ Thanks! See you tomorrow!", he said smiling.
He left then.

Tighnari sighed as he headed to the living room and lay on the couch.
„ I just should tell him how I feel...or else we will "break up"!", he thought to himself.

Suddenly, Collei was standing in front of him.
„ Hey Collei! What's up?", Tighnari asked.

„ I don't want to seem rude...but are you and Cyno gonna break up?", she asked with a sad look on her face.

Tighnari freaked out. Collei had heard their conversation at dinner.
„ I guess you heard what we said at dinner, huh?", he asked.
Collei nodded her head.

Tighnari took a deep breath.
„ Cyno and I are in a fake relationship because he wanted to get away from some girl who had a crush on him. And now the plan has worked, and she doesn't like him anymore. I thought this plan was gonna be easy...but I caught feelings for him and I don't want to let him go!", Tighnari said as he started to cry.

Collei hugged him tightly.
„ You still have time to tell him how you feel! You should confess to him, he will say yes! I know how in love he is with you, I can see it!", she said.

Tighnari wiped his tears away and smiled.
„ You're right, I will tell him!", Tighnari said smiling.
