It started with a fake relationship [Tighnari x Cyno]

Chapter 17

Tighnari was lying on his bed, sobbing loudly. He didn't know what to do.

He just wanted the entire fight to be cleared, so that he could have a nice, romantic date with Cyno the following day.

Suddenly, the door opened.

Collei was standing there, with a Nintendo switch joycon in her left hand.

„ Hey Tighnari, wanna play just dance-?", she asked.

She immediately stopped her phrase as she saw Tighnari's teary face.

„ Oh my archons! Collei, I'm so sorry you had to see me like this!", Tighnari cried.

Collei put the joycon away and sat next to Tighnari.
„ What happened? Why are you sad?", she asked.

„ Well...I had a fight with Cyno!", Tighnari said, wiping his tears away,
„ And I just want this stupid fight to be over!"

Collei hugged him tightly.

„ Maybe try texting him! If he doesn't answer, then maybe you should go to his house to talk to him in person. He will talk to you in person for sure!", Collei said.

Tighnari took a deep breath and hugged Collei tightly.
„ Thank you, Collei! What would I do without you?", he said as he cried again.

He immediately took out his phone and decided to text Cyno.

Tighnari: Hey Cyno, can we please talk?

He was hoping Cyno would answer his message.

Meanwhile, Cyno had just arrived home. He was upset about the fight as well. Unlike Tighnari, he didn't cry, but he felt like he just wanted to break down.

As he opened the front door, he heard his mom speak. He knew that she had guests over.

„ Of course my mom has guests over when I'm feeling sh*tty!", Cyno thought to himself as he rolled his eyes.

He was about to walk upstairs, when suddenly, he heard his mom call his name.

He turned around and saw his mom smiling.

„ Hey love! You're just in time! Guess who decided to stay over for the weekend?", she asked.
„ Oh hey! Who?", Cyno asked.

„ Your step brother Kris!", she said smiling.

Cyno knew that his weekend was basically ruined.

Kris was his step brother who Cyno despised since he was a young boy.

Cyno's mom was married to a German man who moved from Mondstadt to Sumeru when he was young. He met Cyno's mom, they fell in love, got married and had Kris.

When Kris was 2 years old, his dad cheated on Cyno's mom with a younger woman and left her. It resulted in Kris mostly living with his dad, who had moved back to Mondstadt.

A few years later, Cyno's mom fell in love with a man from Sumeru who worked at her bank. They fell in love, got married and had Cyno. They divorced when Cyno was 10 years old, because they fell out of love.

Kris and Cyno met for the first time when Kris was 7 years old and Cyno was 3 years old.

The moment Kris saw Cyno, he immediately hated him. He had no reason to hate him, since Cyno was a nice boy when he was a kid.

Kris hates Cyno, because he was jealous that Cyno was always with his mom, where Kris rarely got to see her. All he wanted was what Cyno had.

He envied him.

The older they were, the worse Kris' behavior became towards Cyno. He would bully him verbally and physically.

Cyno never told his mom about Kris' behavior, since he always thought she would believe Kris since he was the older child.

The worst part was that he was extremely homophobic and transphobic.

Cyno knew he was bisexual since he was 13, and all those years, he has never told Kris about his sexuality.

And the fact that he now had a trans boyfriend, he was extremely scared how his step brother would react if he found out.

Cyno saw Kris walk out into the hallway. He had black hair and a beard, and was wearing a white hoodie, black skinny jeans, wearing a Gucci cap.

„ Hey Cyno, how has my step bro been?", he asked faking a smile, since Cyno's mom was there.

„ Good! I'm tired from college, so I will head to my room!", Cyno said as he walked to his bed, not wanting to talk to his step brother and doing his best to avoid him.

However, as Cyno hadn't even reached his bed, Kris was in Cyno's room behind him.

„ Ugh! What the heck do you want?", Cyno shouted, „ I'm tired, and don't need to deal with your sh*t right now!"

„ Just wanted to catch up! We are family after afterall!", Kris said.
Cyno ignored him and lay on his bed and took out his phone.

His eyes opened widely as he saw a message from Tighnari. He was relieved, since he really wanted to talk to Tighnari about the whole fight.

Kris noticed Cyno type on his phone.

Being the horrible guy he is, he of course had to know what Cyno was up to.

„ Who are you texting? Your girlfriend?", his brother yelled as he ran over to him and snatched the phone out of his hand.

„ HEY! GIVE THAT BACK!", Cyno yelled.

It was too late.

His brother had written back to Tighnari on Cyno's account.

Cyno: LMAOO do you actually think I'd wanna talk? Especially to someone as weird as you?! Just leave me alone
