Chapter 37

After a few minutes, Candace, Tighnari and Lia arrived at Al Haitham's house.
„ You two, please hide behind that bush!", Candace said, „ I will text you if anything goes wrong!"

Lia and Tighnari hid behind a bush near Al Haitham's house, as Candace knocked on the door.
After a few seconds, Al Haitham opened the door.

„ Candace. You were quick to arrive here for once!", Al Haitham said as he stared at her from head to toe.
„ Of course I was!", she said, „ This plan will work. I'm positive about it!"

Al Haitham rolled his eyes.
„ I can't believe im doing this!", Al Haitham thought to himself as he let Candace into his house.

They both walked into the living room. Candace saw that Al Haitham's phone was faced down on the table, which was perfect.

„ The others should be here soon. I told them that you'll be there. They are interested in what you have to say!", Al Haitham said.

„ Well, in the mean time, could you please prepare me a cup of coffee?", Candace asked.

Al Haitham rolled his eyes.
„ Just because you're here again doesn't mean I'm going to act like you're my best friend!", Al Haitham growled.

„ Even if you hate me, it still would be respectful to give me some coffee!", Candace said, „ I would make anyone coffee, no matter how much I despise them!"

Al Haitham stared at her from head to toe.
„ Ugh! Do you want any sugar in your coffee?", he asked, as he finally agreed to making her coffee.
„ Two cubes please!", Candace said.

Al Haitham finally left to make Candace her coffee.
Now was the opportunity to text Cyno, pretending it's actually Al Haitham.

Al Haitham was too stupid to have password on his phone, which was a piece of cake for Candace to text Cyno.

Al Haitham: Hey buddy, wanna hang out at mine?

Now, Candace had to wait for a response.

Meanwhile, Cyno was sitting on his bed, at home. He was looking through his Instagram page.

His Instagram page looked empty, since he had taken down all the pictures with Tighnari.

He really missed dating him.
He really missed Tighnari.

But he knew he had to the right thing. He knew what Tighnari did at his own birthday party was despicable.

Suddenly, a text message appeared, from Al Haitham.

Cyno was not happy to be receiving a message from him.

Cyno didn't like what he heard from Childe and Scaramouche earlier. Al Haitham had bullied Tighnari while Cyno was absent from college. He wasn't in the mood to be friendly with Al Haitham.

Cyno: Hey. I don't really feel like hanging out.

As Candace got the message, she wasn't happy.

She needed Cyno to arrive at Al Haitham's house, or else this plan wouldn't work out.

Al Haitham: Pls. I really miss the old times when we were kids. Please, hang out with me

Cyno thought about it. Maybe if he would go to Al Haitham's house, he could talk to him about him bullying his ex boyfriend.

Cyno: Well we actually do need to talk about Tighnari. It's important. So is it ok for you if I am at your house in like 20 minutes?

Candace immediately grinned.

Al Haitham: Yes, that's great. See you in 20 mins, buddy!

That moment, Al Haitham returned with a cup of warm coffee.
„ Here. You better be grateful for this!", Al Haitham growled.

„ Thank you!", Candace said.

After a few seconds of silence, there was a knock on the door.

„ That must be the others!", Al Haitham said as he got up.

He opened the door. Kris was standing next to Crystal.
„ Hey dude. I heard that Candace is here!", Kris said.
„ Yeah, she better have something good for us!", Crystal said.

As they entered the living room, Candace ran to the front door and made sure that it was a bit open, so that Cyno could let himself in.

Everyone sat down in the living room.
„ So, Candace. Tell us your plan!", Al Haitham said.

Candace took a deep breath.
She had to stick to the plan.
„ So, we could try to use that potion again, so that Tighnari will forcefully kiss someone like Kris, for example! And then, we can upload the picture and Cyno will feel even worse. The bullying will get so out of hand, that Tighnari will never return to college again!", Candace explained.

Kris immediately raised his hand.
„ Ew! No way I'm kissing that girl!", Kris yelled.
„ Kris, stop being transphobic for once!", Al Haitham yelled, „ You're helpful and all, but the transphobia needs to stop!"

Kris simply giggled.
„ I find the plan good. Tighnari being out of everyone's life would be amazing!", Crystal said.

Meanwhile, Cyno had just arrived at the house. He knew he had to have a word about Tighnari to Al Haitham.

As he arrived at the house, he saw that the door was slightly open.
He had a confused look on his face.

„ That's weird. He never leaves his front door open!", Cyno thought to himself.

Suddenly, he heard people talk.
„ That's even weirder. Al Haitham never invites me over when he has guests!", he thought to himself.

Cyno let himself in.
He didn't want to call Al Haitham's name, since he had guests over.

„ So, what does everyone think of the plan? We all need to be sure that everyone is ok with this plan!", Al Haitham said.

Cyno was hiding behind a shelf.
„ What plan? And who does he even have over?", Cyno thought to himself.

„ Of course I want to go with this plan, unless I don't have to kiss my stupid step brother's ex girlfriend!", Kris yelled.

Cyno's eyes opened widely with shock.
„ Oh my archons. What is Kris doing here?", he thought to himself, „ and how does he even know Al Haitham?"

„ Me too, I want Tighnari out of everyone's life!", Crystal said.
„ Crystal? Al Haitham? Kris?", Cyno thought to himself, „ What is even going on?"

„ Now everyone will believe that Tighnari yet again forcefully kissed someone, thanks to that amazing potion!", Al Haitham said with an evil grin on his face.

Cyno nearly fainted that moment.

Tighnari had never cheated on him.

He had blamed him this whole time for nothing.
