It started with a fake relationship [Tighnari x Cyno]

Chapter 40

„ I can't believe that we are actually graduating from college today!", Tighnari said as he stared at himself in the mirror, as Cyno was helping him fix his tie.

„ Yeah...the fact that now, a new chapter starts in our lives is crazy!", Cyno replied as he kissed his boyfriend's cheek.

Two years had passed since Cyno and Tighnari started dating again the whole Al Haitham incident.

Since then, many things have changed.

Al Haitham and Crystal got what they deserved. People would hate on them on social media and on campus. Al Haitham got much more hate than Crystal, since he was the one who had planned everything.

At some stage, the bullying got so bad, so that Crystal dropped out of college, and Al Haitham moved to live in a flat far away from where he lived, and to start over to get away from everyone. He decided to move to a different college.

Since then, Cyno or Tighnari haven't seen Al Haitham or Crystal.

Al Haitham made a new Instagram account, where he only had followers from his new college. He posted a lot, and he even had a boyfriend called Kaveh.

Cyno hoped that Al Haitham had realized how bad he was and how bad his actions were. He knew he could never forgive him.
It was for the best that Al Haitham would have no contact with Cyno or Tighnari, since what he did was despicable.

Crystal deactivated all her profiles on social media. Cyno knew nothing about how she had been doing for over a year.

Until around 6 months ago, Cyno decided to check Kris' Instagram page. He was shocked to see that Kris had a girlfriend: Crystal. Cyno and Tighnari weren't surprised in the end, since Kris and Crystal were made for each other as they both were horrible people.

Cyno had no contact with Kris. He no longer visited Cyno's house, which was better for Cyno and for his mother. Cyno's mother did have a very bit contact with Kris, since he was her son after all. But their relationship wasn't as close anymore. Cyno's mom had a more distant relationship with Kris now.

Tighnari and Cyno had made many new friends since the whole Al Haitham incident. Mostly, they would hang out with Lia and Candace. They also made friends with Dehya and Nilou from their class, who used to be friends with Crystal. Childe and Scaramouche also became their friends.

And now, it was the last day of college.
„ Truthfully, I'm kind of sad!", Tighnari said, „ When you think about it...college is the place where we fell in love. And now, after today, we will never be going back!"

Cyno nodded his head in agreement.
„ But hey, at least we are moving in together soon!", Cyno said smiling.
„ Yeah, that's good! I'll be happy to move in with you!", Tighnari said smiling.

Two months before, Cyno and Tighnari decided to make plans for after college. They were planning on working in Sumeru. However, since they have been dating for two years, they decided to move in together. They basically hung out 24/7 with each other, so it would be easier for them to live together.
One evening, as they were searching to buy a house, they came across a beautiful house that was perfect for 3 people to live in, since Collei was also moving in with them.

A few moments later, Cyno's mom walked in.
„ Boys! You look lovely!", she said smiling with a proud look on her face, „ I have to take a photo!"
„ Thanks mom!", Cyno said, as both him and Tighnari posed for a photo.

Cyno's mom drove Tighnari and Cyno to college. Many students were standing outside the building, dressed up nicely and elegantly.

Tighnari and Cyno stood outside the building and started talking to each other.

„ Hey gays!", a voice called around 5 minutes later.

Childe was running towards Cyno and Tighnari, as he was dragging Scaramouche along.
„ Hey Childe! Hey Scara!", Tighnari said smiling.

„ It's good we bumped into you!", Scaramouche said, „ Because there is something we wanted to tell you! "
„ What's up?", Cyno asked.

„ Today might be the last day you see Childe and I...for a while!", Scaramouche sadly said.

„ Huh? Why?", Tighnari gasped.
„ Childe and I are moving to Inazuma. We both want to work there, since it's easy to find a job and the salary is pretty high!", Scaramouche said.

„ Yeah! Our plane already leaves tomorrow evening!", Childe sadly said.

Cyno and Tighnari looked sad.
„ Well, good luck!", Tighnari said, „ We won't lose contact with you guys. And we will meet up from time to time, right?"
„ Of course!", Childe and Scaramouche both said.
„ We will miss you!", Cyno sadly said.
„ Us too!", Childe sadly replied.

Afterwards, there was a ceremony. It was emotional: A mix of tears and laughter.

Cyno and Tighnari felt happy to start a new chapter in their lives. Cyno was going to work in a labratory, and Tighnari was going to study wildlife. Tighnari was planning on going outside more often to discover plants and insects, and do certain experiments to discover more about the planet.

Both boys were excited to start their jobs. Plus, they were excited to finally live in the same house. They were excited to finally start the new chapter.

But however, they would have no more lessons together. They wouldn't see their friends as often.

At the same time, things wouldn't be the same anymore.
