It started with a fake relationship [Tighnari x Cyno]

Chapter 9

Almost two weeks had gone by since Cyno gifted Tighnari the teddy bear and flowers.

Since then, Tighnari's eye has completely healed. It had looked like his dad had finally got the message and didn't go near Tighnari. He seemed to be happier.

Tighnari became closer with Al Haitham and Crystal. They always hung out with Cyno. Crystal had changed and was really supportive of Cyno and Tighnari's "relationship".

However, the problem was that Tighnari still hadn't confessed his feelings to Cyno.

He was too nervous to confess. What if Cyno was just joking about liking him that night in the hospital?
What if Cyno didn't like him that way?

It was a Monday evening. Tighnari was in his room, studying for an upcoming exam. Suddenly, he heard his phone buzz.

He ran to his phone since he was certain this was a notification from Cyno. And he was correct. He had received a message from Cyno on Instagram.

Cyno: Hey, so should we "break up" tomorrow?

Tighnari freaked out. He didn't want this relationship to end.

He knew he couldn't agree to what Cyno had written, so he came up with a plan as fast as possible.

Tighnari: Hey! Well about that...is it ok if we go to the local park near college tomorrow? I kinda wanted to talk to you about smth important

Cyno: Sure that's fine by me!

Tighnari smiled.

This time, he was going to confess his true feelings.

The next day, Tighnari was anxious during the entire day. After college, he would be confessing his feelings to Cyno.

He was wondering what would happen after he would confess.

Would things be the same as before?
Would they both end up dating for real this time?
Or would they "break up" anyway?
Or would they even remain friends?

Eventually, lessons were finished for the day. Tighnari waited for Cyno outside the college building.

Cyno arrived a few moments later.
„ Hey!", Cyno said smiling.
„ Hey!", Tighnari nervously said.
„ So then, let's head off to the park since you wanted to talk to me about something important!", Cyno said.

Tighnari nodded his head.

As they both were walking to the park, there was silence. Tighnari was super nervous. He was trembling and felt like he didn't want to confess since it was super risky.

Both of them walked to the park and sat down at a bench near a next to a big tree. There weren't many people in the park, which was better for Tighnari.

„ So, what did you wanna talk to me about?", Cyno asked.

Tighnari was trembling. His cheeks were as red as a tomato and he felt like he didn't want to confess, but at the same time, he didn't want to "break up" with Cyno.

He took a deep breath to calm himself down.

„ Promise not to hate me after this, ok?", Tighnari nervously said.

Cyno was confused.
„ Why would I hate you? You're an amazing person!", Cyno said

Tighnari took a deep breath.
„ I don't want...the relationship to end!", he nervously said.

Cyno's eyes opened widely.
„ Are you sure? I think the timing to break up is good now! Crystal doesn't like me and everything is good! Plus you did not want to date me for any longer than a month so-!", Cyno began, who didn't catch that that was not the reason.

„ It's not that!", Tighnari interrupted.

Cyno looked at him.
„ Oh? Then what's the reason?", he asked.

„ Cyno...the reason why I don't wanna break up is because I...I like you!", Tighnari nervously stuttered.

Cyno's eyes opened widely.
„ Hold the phone! You mean like as a friend or like as-?", Cyno began.

„ I like you more than a friend. I caught feelings for you during this fake relationship! And I just hate the thought of us "breaking up", even if it was a fake relationship!", Tighnari said as tears rolled down his face.

Cyno turned bright red.
„ Tighnari, I'm happy our feelings are mutual! I like you too!", Cyno nervously said.

Tighnari's eyes opened widely. He then smiled.

„ You see, I thought you were straight since that's what you told me when we first started fake dating so I thought my feelings were one sided this whole time!", Cyno said.

„ Well, I thought I was straight. But as I had time to think about my sexuality, I came to the conclusion that I honestly could never see myself dating a girl. So I know for sure that I'm gay and only into guys!", Tighnari said.

Cyno wrapped his arms around Tighnari and gave him a tight hug.

After a few seconds, Tighnari opened his mouth.
„ Oh yeah, there is something that you don't know!", Tighnari said.
„ Huh? What is that?", Cyno asked.

„ I know you kissed me in hospital that night!", he said.

Cyno turned redder than ever.
„ WHAT? I thought you were asleep!", he gasped, „ Oh my archons, I feel like such an idiot!"

Tighnari laughed.
„ Dont feel bad! I really enjoyed that kiss though!", he said blushing.

Cyno smiled.

„ What if I told you that you could enjoy it again!", Cyno said smiling.

Tighnari blushed.
„ I would love that!", he said.

Cyno placed his left hand on Tighnari's neck and his right hand on his cheek. Tighnari placed both of his hands on Cyno's waist. Cyno them leaned in and pulled Tighnari closer towards him. They both closed their eyes before their lips touched as they kissed for the second time.

After the kiss, they both smiled.

„ I'm happy we don't have to "break up"!", Cyno laughed.

Tighnari smiled.
„ Me too!", he happily said.

They kissed once last time before leaving the park, holding hands.
