It started with a fake relationship [Tighnari x Cyno]

Chapter 41

Three years had passed since Tighnari and Cyno have graduated.

Since then, life has been good.

Both boys lived together with Collei in a beautiful house. And thankfully, they both found a good job as well. They both worked in a town, not too far away from their house.

It was a cold, winter evening. Tighnari had just finished work for the day. It was around 7PM, and he had worked quite long.
„ Cyno probably is home by now!", Tighnari thought to himself.

He left the building and started heading towards the bus station.

Suddenly, he heard someone call his name.

Tighnari saw Cyno was standing outside, next to his car that was parked.
It looked like he was planning on collecting Tighnari to drive him home.

Tighnari blushed.
„ Darling...what are you doing here?", Tighnari asked blushing, „ I can take the bus home myself. You don't have to go through trouble to collect me!"

Cyno smiled.
„ What would you say if I took you out to dinner?", Cyno asked, „ I found a nice restaurant in a five star hotel!"

Tighnari blushed.
„ I would love that!", Tighnari said.

Cyno and Tighnari would often go on dates, but usually never on week days, because of work.

Tighnari was surprised that Cyno was bringing him on a date on a Tuesday, but he didn't say anything. He was looking forward to have dinner with his boyfriend.

After a 15 minute drive, Tighnari and Cyno arrived at the restaurant.

As they entered the restaurant, Tighnari was confused.

No one was in the restauant.
No people eating their dinner, no waiters, no ne working there.
The lights were all off.

„ Is this some bad prank of yours?", Tighnari growled as he raised his eyes to heaven.

Suddenly, the lights went on.
„ SURPRISE!", everyone yelled.

Tighnari turned around and gasped.

He saw Scaramouche, Childe, Lia, Candace, Nilou, Dehya and Collei stand there.

„ No way! Is this actually happening?", Tighnari gasping as he got emotional.

It had been 3 years since he had seen his college friends. Childe and Scaramouche lived in Inazuma. Nilou, Dehya, Candace and Lia went to work in Liyue.

He had missed his friends.

„ Tighnari! This isn't the only surprise!", Cyno said smiling.

Tighnari looked at Cyno.
„ Oh? What is it?", Tighnari asked as he was wondering what the other surprise would be.

Suddenly, a Cyno got down on one knee and took out a small box.

He opened it, and there, there was an engagement ring inside.

Tighnari turned bright red.
„ Tighnari...I met you around seven years ago in college. The moment I saw you, I caught feelings for you. And then, in the second year...I got closer with you because of the fake relationship!", Cyno said smiling, „ And then, when we started actually dating, I just loved being in a relationship with you. Even when we broke up, I still loved you. I never lost feelings for you, and I never will lose feelings for. Therefore, will you marry me?"

Tighnari started to cry.
„ Yes! Of course, what kind of a question is that?", he cried, „ I love you so much, Cyno. You were the one who opened my eyes to realize that I wasn't straight. You were the one I've always loved, and I will love until the day I die!"

Everyone clapped and Cyno put the ring on Tighnari's finger.

„ I love you!", Cyno said as he kissed Tighnari.

„ I love you more!", Tighnari said as he kissed Cyno.

4 months later, Cyno and Tighnari got married. All of the people who used to share clssses with them attended the wedding (except for Al Haitham and Crystal).

Cyno's mom attended as well, and thankfully, no sign of Kris. And of course, Collei was there.

After Cyno and Tighnari were officially married, there was a lunch at a near by 5 star hotel.

Tighnari and Cyno were sitting opposite each other.
„ I'm happy we're finally married!", Cyno said smiling.
„ Me too!", Tighnari said smiling, „ The day we first talked, I never would have imagined that we would marry in the future!"
„ Me too! I never thought you would like me back to be honest!", Cyno laughed.

That moment, Collei ran towards the married couple.
„ I'm so happy that you guys are finally married!", Collei said smiling.

„ Thanks!", Tighnari said smiling, „ And Collei, there is something Cyno and I wanted to tell you!"
„ What is it?", Collei asked who was wondering what they wanted to tell her.

„ A few weeks ago, Cyno and I talked about it!", Tighnari said, „ What do you think of the idea that Cyno and I would be your fathers instead of "legal guardian"?"

Collei immediately jumped into the air out of happiness.
„ No way! Yes, I would love that!", she said smiling.

Cyno and Tighnari were happy.

Tighnari was especially happy that Collei agreed.

Collei lost her parents when she was very young. Tighnari was just supposed to be her legal guardian, but he always felt like more of a father to her.

And now that Cyno and Tighnari were married, Collei would have two fathers.
