It started with a fake relationship [Tighnari x Cyno]

Chapter 16

Lia stood there in shock as Cyno was kissing Tighnari.

After the kiss, the atmosphere was extremely awkward.

„ Let's just go, Tighnari!", Cyno growled as he grabbed Tighnari's hand and left the Starbucks.

The moment they left, Tighnari could tell that Cyno was angry.

„ Who the heck did that girl think she was?", Cyno shouted, „ She should know better to jut respect the fact that you have a boyfriend for archon's sake!"

Tighnari didn't answer.

„ And who even was that?", Cyno shouted, „ I don't think you should be friends with someone like her!"

Tighnari took a deep breath.
„ How did you even know I would be in Starbucks?", Tighnari asked, „ Weren't you supposed to be waiting for me at my flat with Collei?"

„ Yeah, that was my plan. But I was craving coffee, so I go to Starbucks since it's close to the train station!", Cyno explained, „ And what do I see? Some girl making my boyfriend uncomfortable. The nerve of her!"

Tighnari sighed.

„ Look, sweetheart! I know you were trying to be kind...but next time please don't interfere with a situation like that!", Tighanri said.

Cyno stopped in the middle of the path. His eyes opened widely. He was shocked to hear what Tighnari had just to yo him.

„ What?! You're taking her side?", he shouted, „ As your boyfriend, I should protect you. She was clearly making you uncomfortable. In my eyes, that's not what a "friend" does!"

„ You just made an unnecessary appearance while I'm trying to tell her I didn't like her romantically anymore. It was cringe. Everyone was staring at us!", Tighnari explained.

Cyno scoffed and raised his eyes to hevame.
„ Cringe? In what world was that cringe?!", he yelled, „ And did you just say "you didn't like her romantically anymore"?

„ So what? Cyno, yes I did like her when I was younger. You treat me like such a baby at times!", Tighnari yelled.

Cyno lost it.

„ You know what? As if I'd want to go to your stupid home!", Cyno yelled, „ I do everything to be there for you and you're never grateful for any shit I do!"

He stormed off, leaving Tighnari stand in the middle of the street.

„ Ugh he's wrong, not me!", Tighnari thought to himself.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, he burst into tears.

He had never fought with Cyno. He never wanted to fight with him.

„ It's all my stupid fault!", he cried, „ I shouldn't have said anything to him!"

Suddenly, he heard someone call his name.

He looked up and saw Al Haitham next to him.

„ Al Haitham?", Tighnari gasped as he quickly wiped his tears away, „ Oh my archons, I'm sorry you have to see me cry like this!"

Al Haitham smiled.
„ I just saw you cry and I was worried, since you're my friend!", he said, „ Would you like me to drive you home? I brought my car to college today!"

Tighnari smiled.
„ That would be kind! Thank you!", he said as he was still wiping his tears away.

Al Haitham brought Tighnari to a blue Ferrari. He could tell that Al Haitham was rich.

As Al Haitham had started the engine of the car, he opened his mouth.

„ Hey do you mind me asking...why were you crying earlier?", Al Haitham asked, hoping him and Cyno had broken up since that was his (and Crystal's) plan.

„ I don't mind you asking at all! You're my friend, Al Haitham, and I trust you!", Tighnari said,

„ I just had my first fight with Cyno!"

Al Haitham gasped.
„ Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that!", he gasped, pretending to feel bad for Tighnari, although he felt like hearing this was music to his ears.

„ Cyno saw some girl flirt with me, so he got bad and barged in and kissed me in front of her...but I found it cringe so I just told him the truth that he shouldn't do it again, and then a fight happened!", Tighnari cried,
„ I was hoping we would never fight!"

Tears rolled down his face.

„ I'm so sorry to hear that!", Al Haitham said, „ I'm sure by tomorrow, it'll all be good. You see, Cyno and I constantly fought when we were younger. But the next day, we would be friends since Cyno hated the fact that we fought!"

„ But it's different for me...since Cyno and I are dating, and you and Cyno are best friends!", Tighnari said.

Al Haitham sighed.
„ I know Cyno will be good with you tomorrow, trust me!", he said smiling.

The rest of the car ride, Tighnari didn't open his mouth. He was going to see Cyno the next day for their date.

That moment, Tighnari 's eyes opened widely. It was Saturday. That was the day they would have a date.

He and Cyno had already planned that date for the following day.

What if Cyno wouldn't show up because he would be mad?

A few moments later, Al Haitham let Tighnari out of the car.
„ See you on Monday, buddy!", Al Haitham said.
„ Thanks for the ride!", Tighnari thanked.

Tighnari entered his flat, raced into his bedroom.

He lay on his bed as he he burst into tears and cried into his pillow.

Tighnari felt like he had ruined everything.
