It started with a fake relationship [Tighnari x Cyno]

Chapter 24

It was dinner time.

Collei was eating with Cyno and Tighnari. They were eating tacos Tighnari had ordered from a take away restaurant, since he was too lazy to cook.

„ Alright, I'm gonna play in my room now!", Collei said after she had finished eating, „ Bye guys!"

„ See you later, Collei!", Tighnari said.

Both Cyno and Tighnari continued to eat in peace.

After a few minutes of silence, Tighnari opened his mouth.

„ Cyno, there is something I thought about earlier and I wanted to to talk to you about it!", Tighnari said.

„ Oh? What is it, darling?", Cyno asked as he made eye contact with Tighnari.

„ Cyno, I'm telling you this as your boyfriend...but you need to talk to your mom about Kris!", Tighnari said.

Cyno's eyes opened widely.

He then sighed in a disappointed way.

„ Tighnari, I would love to tell her!", he said, „ But my mom would never take me seriously about that. I mean, she loves her kids equally and sees nothing bad in him. She sees both of us as angels!"

„ I think if you explained to her his behavior towards gay people, she would be furious!", Tighnari said, „ Kris' homophobic behavior to both of was was despicable. And besides, your mom is a very accepting person about the LGBTQ+ community, and would never take a homophobic person's side!"

„ I mean, there, my mom would take me seriously!", Cyno said, „ But I think if Kris found out that I was complaining to my mom about him, he might have a worse behavior towards both of us!"

„ It was just a suggestion, honey!", Tighnari said, „ If you don't wanna talk to your mom, that's fine!"

Cyno smiled.
„ Thanks sweet heart!", Cyno said smiling, „ For now, I won't talk to her! Maybe in the future, I eventually will!"

The following day, Cyno stayed at Tighnari's flat the whole day. The two of them had fun with Collei. Most of the day, they all spent time playing Mario Kart 8 on the switch. Cyno tried to beat Tighnari and Collei, but always managed to fail, and Tighnari would make fun of him.

At around 6PM, Cyno was helping Tighnari cook the meal for the evening. They both were cooking a vegetable soup.

While Cyno was chopping vegetables, he heard his phone buzz. Someone was phoning him.

„ I'll have to take that!", he said as he walked to his phone, that was lying on the couch.

He answered the call.

It was his mother.

„ Hey mom! I'm cooking with Tighnari!", Cyno said.

„ Hey Cyno!", his mom replied, „ I hate to say this, but you'll have to quickly come over to the house as it's getting dark. You forgot your laptop for college tomorrow!"

Cyno freaked out.

Going back home would mean that he would have to see Kris.

„ Oh sure! I'll tell Tighnari that I'll be coming over!", Cyno said as he hung up.

Tighnari had overheard the phone call.
„ Hey, are you going home? I heard what you said on the call!", Tighnari wanted to know.
„ I forgot my laptop at home and I need it for college, so I have to run back to get it!", Cyno said while he was putting his jacket on,  „ And I have to go home and face Kris!"

Tighnari felt bad.
„ I sadly can't come along, or else the soup will burn!", Tighnari said, „ Well, by the time you should be back, dinner will be ready!"

„ That's good to hear!", Cyno said. He approached Tighnari and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.

„ See you soon!", he said as he left Tighnari's flat.

Cyno took a train to get to his house. He was nervous about seeing his brother, but at the same time, he was happy since the weekend was almost over, and Kris wouldn't be staying over at the house anymore.

As he knocked on the door, his mom immediately opened it.

„ Thank you for coming, my precious boy!", Cyno's mom said as she hugged her son.
„ I'm happy to see you, mom!", Cyno said, „ I can't stay long since my boyfriend is cooking the dinner!"

Cyno ran upstairs to his room.

He remembered leaving his laptop on his bed, but he was shocked to not see it there.

„ I was so sure I left it there!", Cyno thought to himself.

Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice from behind him.

„ Looking for this?", the person asked.

Cyno turned around and saw Kris, holding his laptop.

„ Kris, don't do this now! Just give it to me and you won't have to see me as I'm going back to Tighnari's flat!", Cyno growled.

„ Oopsie!", Kris said as he laughed.

In front of Cyno's eyes, he dropped Cyno's laptop onto the floor.
The screen cracked, and that moment, Cyno knew his laptop was broken.

Cyno's eyes opened widely. He was shocked.

Kris had yet again made Cyno feel angry and upset.

„ THAT WAS MY NEW MACBOOK! ALL MY COLLEGE WORK WAS ON THERE! AND NOW IT'S ALL GONE!", Cyno screamed as he ran to his laptop, trying to turn it on, but it wouldn't work.

„ All your work is gone?", Kris laughed, „ I think your girlfriend can give you her work!"

„ Tighnari is a boy, you transphobic piece of sh*t!", Cyno yelled as he lost his temper.

He pushed his brother to the floor, making him bang his head against a small shelf.

„ What on earth is going on?", a voice gasped.

In that moment, Cyno saw his mother standing there, with a shocked look on her face. She had  seen Cyno hurt Kris by pushing him.

Cyno knew she would take Kris' side.

„ Mom, I'm sorry-!", Cyno started to apologize.

„ KRIS! HOW DARE YOU!", Cyno's mom screamed.

Cyno was shocked. For the first time ever, Kris was getting into trouble and being yelled at.

„ Huh? What do you mean "How dare you"?!", Kris yelled, „ Cyno pushed me so hard that I banged my head! He should be the one to blame!"

„ I can't believe that I never saw how horrible you were to your brother!", Cyno's mom yelled, „ I saw you break his laptop for no reason! I understand why Cyno pushed you in return! And the way you speak about his boyfriend is horrible!"

„ Oh come on, mom! Cyno's boyfriend isn't even a boy. Boys don't have v@gin@s, now do they?!", Kris laughed.

„ BE QUIET!", Cyno's mom yelled, „ You know what? LEAVE MY HOUSE!"

„ Good! As if I'd want to be here, anyway!", Kris yelled.

Kris got up and left to pack his stuff. He made eye contact one last with Cyno time before angrily heading to his room.

Cyno's mom hugged Cyno tightly.
„ I feel like such a bad mother!", she cried, „ I won't ever let Kris treat you or your boyfriend like that again!"
„ Thanks mom! I love you!", Cyno said as he hugged his mom tighter.

He felt emotional. Finally, his mom knew the truth. Things would be better now.

Cyno headed back to the train station. As he was on the train, he took out his phone and texted Tighnari.

Cyno: Hey babe, guess what? My mom has kicked Kris out. She found out the truth how horrible he is. It's better this way for everyone :)

Tighnari: Omg I'm so proud of you <3 I can't wait to see you soon!
