"What are you..." Susan started and leaned down on Jessica's laptop, looking at the small screen

"You know, having a T.V. would really be helpful," Jessica said and sat more comfortable on the couch as she chuckled

"That's why we have your house, baby" Susan answered and gave her a kiss on her forehead as she disappeared then into the kitchen

"Don't you wanna watch it together?" Jessica screamed

"No, thanks" Susan hollered back making Jessica laugh.

After almost an hour Jessica walked into the kitchen. Susan glanced up from her phone and smiled as she took off her glasses and lowered the phone, "So?"

"You're good," Jessica replied and took a seat across her, lighting up a cigarette

Susan chuckled, "That's it?"

"Oh, it's a T.V. show, you and I, both know what are you capable of"

"For example?"

"Blackbird"

"That was a movie"

"And that was a masterpiece! You were incredible in it"

"Well, forgive me Ms. Lange, Scorsese, and Coppola were occupied" Susan replied and dragged her chair back, standing up

"I'm not saying that"

"Then what are you saying?" she replied and looked at her

"I'm just saying that you were good but not as good as you truly are and that's not on you, for God's sake. They gave you nothing to work on. Doing a movie is different from doing a show and you know exactly what I mean"

"Alright," Susan said while nodding

"Don't get me wrong. I think you are an incredible actress, I worked with you, and I watch you when you study for a role when you're trying to learn all these lines. I can see how hard you're working and that's just admirable"

"It sounds different when it comes from you"

"Why?"

"Because I know you're telling the truth"

Jessica laughed, "I got nothing to lose, that's true"

"Exactly..." Susan replied and started walking, "But I would fire you if you were my assistant," she said and laughed

"Sue" Jessica said and turned to look at her as she was standing now behind her, "One more thing"

"What?"

"I wanna give you a tip," she started and stood up, "I'm all ears" Susan replied while laughing and crossing her arms

"Next time, try being less passionate when you kiss someone else on screen. I mean the world doesn't need to feel the chemistry between you two."

With that, Susan burst out laughing, "Is that so?"

"I'd appreciate it," Jessica said and stopped in front of her woman

"After all these years, you're still jealous?"

"I'm still madly in love with you, Susan"

Susan placed her palm on Jessica's cheek and stroked her softly as she pushed herself closer and closed her eyes. Jessica felt her lover's warm breath on her lips and parted them, tasting her eventually. Their kiss lasted more than expected when Susan all of a sudden wrapped her arms around Jessica's back and turned her around, pinning her to the wall behind. Jessica moved her kisses to Susan's jawline and stopped, their eyes locked into each other.
