10 - "Was let off with a warning"

I get up, my legs feeling weak as I do, the train had broken the earth and there are creatures of Grimm everywhere. People scream and run when the Grimm alarm sounds loudly.

I don't have a lot of time to react when a Grimm hit me in the back causing me to fall flat on my front. Regardless of the fact that my knees and hands are completely scratched up, I quickly slaughter the Grimm stabbing it in the throat with my spear.

Another Grimm goes to attack me but it falls dead before it can lay a claw on me, as it falls it's attacker is revealed
"Ash" I nod
"Heard you stole an airship" he raises his eyebrow
"Borrowed!" I shout as I take out another Grimm "there's a difference!" I add
"Sure" he snorts
"Duck!" Coral calls as she throws her sword effectively killing a Grimm that I hadn't noticed was creeping up behind me, I wave back in gratitude. More ships appear above us, now joining the fight is team JNPR and team CFVY ,a popular second year team, led by Coco Adel who I have not yet had the pleasure to speak to.

There are hundreds of Grimm surrounding us all as we start taking out one after the other, I even have the pleasure of watching Jaune take out a big Ursa, he's improved.

Teachers join us, including Oobleck who just appeared from who knows where and the dog who had been following us for some reason.

Grimm.

More Grimm.

And guess what? More Grimm.

Glynda Goodwitch arrives easily taking them out as she goes to fix the roads, paths and buildings looking very frustrated as she does so.

The last Grimm falls at the feet of the one and only Little Rose and we all sigh tiredly as two people are brought up being arrested.

One of them for the past year or so has infested my dreams turning them into nightmares.

"Silver sweetheart!" He calls and everyone turns to me confused as I turn ignoring it and I walk off heading to one of the ships which are going back to Beacon.

Once entering the school I am met by Ozpin who asks me to come with him, we enter his office in silence and sit down

"I have been talking to the captain of a ship and General Ironwood, do you have any idea why?" I roll my eyes
"I had every intention of bringing it back" I comment
"Miss Belladonna you cannot just take a ship" he expresses incredulously "you are just lucky that they managed to recover the ship without any damage being done unto it or you would be paying the price" he speaks sternly looking disappointed
"Professor with all due respect my sister called me, she only does that when she's in danger, I did what I had to"
"Not only did you take a ship but you didn't tell any teacher or huntsman of the danger; you instead took it upon yourself to deal with it. Need I remind you that you are still a huntress in training, it is your first year, none of that was your call. You hear of danger and you report it that is the system."
"That's all good in theory, but that would have taken more time and I just got there in time to help them" I respond
"Another thing, you do not have a license to fly that airship therefore the police could get involved" he informs me
"It was worth it Professor"
"I have however spoken to Professor Goodwitch and General Ironwood and they have agreed that you did what you thought you had to and you are underaged and a student so it would be put on us therefore we have decided not to report this. But if you do anything like this again there will be consequences." He says
"Of course Professor" I settle on responding with as I get up to leave but before I enter the lift he asks
"When did you learn how to fly an airship?"
"I'm sure you know by now that I was a member of the White Fang" is how I respond before entering the lift and going down.

I let out a breathe of relief as I know I'm not being kicked out.

"What happened?!" All three of my teammates bombard me with questions as I enter the dorm
"Was let off with a warning" I shrug
"Thank goodness" Coral sighs
"Were you all worried about me?" I ask confused
"Your a part of this team, someone messes with you they mess with all of us" Coral nods firmly

For the first time I feel fully included in a group and I realise these three very different people are my friends and they really try for me and back me up; I should do the same.

I smile a real smile as I sit on my bed facing my friends and teammates.
"Thanks, that means a lot, a lot more than you'd think" I swallow my pride and let them know
"We're not just teammates we're friends that's what we do" Lav speaks up
