4 - "Who did you see?"

"Emerald and Mercury Vs Coco and Yatsuhashi" Professor Port starts
"Fight!" Professor Oobleck calls excitedly and the minute he calls it Mercury and Emerald move back slowly into the field biome disappearing from view.

"This'll be good" I snort as I eat my popcorn, "Coco and Yatsuhashi will kick there ass'" I nod confidently

I sit up straighter as I see that the field Coco had just destroyed is empty and Mercury is above them going in for a quick kick which Yatsuhashi blocks easily causing Mercury to circle them quickly as he's shot at.

My eyes narrow, if he's actually this talented in combat why did he forfeit against Phyrra?

Coco falls back and is pulled into the forest biome, why does Emerald not want to be seen as she fights Coco? Am I overthinking this? Probably

"And with that final hit Yatsuhashi is out!" I tune back in to hear and it's not long before Coco is flung out of the forest knocking her out of the fight as well "Emerald and Mercury claim victory" Oobleck calls and whilst the rest of my team, Blake's team, team JNPR and team SSSN stay seated to watch more fights I quickly excuse myself muttering about needing the toilet so no one would follow.

I make my way to the airship Coco and Yatsuhashi are being put in to go back to beacon to be looked over because there auras are so low and not all injuries have been healed because of this.

"I'm telling you I saw him whilst I was in there" Coco was telling the nurse as I head over
"Sorry Miss we're busy" she says to me
"Who did you see?" I ask Coco and she turns to me quickly
"Miss i must insist you leave, she's in distress" the nurse pushes me back slightly
"Give me two minutes with her" I demand
"It's fine" Coco also tells the nurse and I can see the nurse cave before she says anything
"Two minutes" she says as she steps out
"Who did you see?" I ask again
"Yatsuhashi" she tells me still looking shaken up
"In the forest?" I ask
"Yes, you have to believe me" she begs desperately
"He never left the centre" I comment to which Coco huffs
"I know"

How can she see someone in the forest when he's not left the centre? Could have been seeing things? But coco's a great fighter and she's brave how would that tournament fight get to her? Unless someone in the colosseum interfered?

My brain runs at 100 miles per hour and it takes me a while to notice that the nurse has come pack and Coco is clicking her fingers in front of my eyes.

"You must go now miss" the nurse states
"I'll get back to you" I promise to Coco as I turn on my heel and leave, my mind still running so fast that I don't notice someone coming towards me and I bump right into them falling flat on my face or I would have if the person hadn't caught me before I hit the floor.
"Silver? Silver?!" I blink several times to see Jaune watching me looking a little concerned and I suddenly become very aware of his hands on my waist which results in me jumping back as if he'd burnt me.
"I'm fine" I nod
"Are you sure?" His eyes search mine, I never noticed how blue his eyes are.

Where did that thought come from? I shake my head and walk away hearing him call my name.

Arghhh stupid subconscious thoughts.

What happened in that arena?

My mind skips around all over the place and continues to do so as I get into an airship to get back to Beacon.

I don't really consider where I'm going but I just keep walking and end up at the library, not completely surprising since I take the route to the library pretty much every day.

I sit at a desk with a computer in front of me as I look around me making sure to check no one is watching me and when I'm sure there not I type out a name into the search bar

Emerald Sustrai

I click enter and nothing comes up, nothing about any family, no photos; nothing. So I move on typing another name

Mercury Black

Now this is more interesting, I think as I see one name pop up over and over again

Marcus Black

There are hundreds of articles about this man, about him being a suspect in a murder, that the suspected murderer was found dead outside his own house which was on fire his son no where to be found.

Mercury Black I'm going to be keeping my eyes on you.

I get up and leave the library hearing someone call my name.

"Silver!" I turn to see it's Weiss
"Weiss" I nod as she eventually falls into step with me, I turn to face her as I hear a small sniffle "do you have allergies?" I ask confused
"No, no, my sister just left" she tells me and I internally groan
"And erm your     sad     that she's gone" i state
"Yeah I don't see her as much as I used to, guess I just wish she could stay here" she tells me as we walk out of the school
"I mean she works for the military so you must be used to her leaving" I shrug
"Yeah" I just notice that she is no longer sniffling having calmed completely
"So your double round is soon right?" I ask feeling awkward
"Yeah In half an hour" I nod looking around uncomfortably as I bite my lower lip
"Hello again" I roll my eyes, more people
"Hello Phyrra" Weiss responds to Phyrra "hi Jaune" she tilts her head looking towards the shaggy haired boy who is stood slightly behind Phyrra.
"Your fight is soon, is it not?" Phyrra asks,
"Yes I was just about to drag Silver to one of the ships to go back to the colosseum" she states
"I didn't get back here that long ago" I complain dropping my head
"You can't miss my fight" Weiss comments
"Yeah I can" Weiss tilts her head at me "whatever" I sigh leading them to a ship which we quickly get into and we're back at the colosseum.
"I'm going to meet Yang" Weiss tells us as she goes to leave "go and get a good seat" she demands pointing at me before she goes

We sit down in the front row meeting up with my sister and Little Rose.
"Hi Silver" said girl waves excitedly, how can she have so much energy?
"Hi" I mutter half heartedly

Eventually it is Weiss and Blondie's turn and they are against a team from Atlas who look like they've just come out of a disco. The girls actually wearing roller skates; who wears roller skates to a fight? You could easily be tripped.

And the fight begins...

Sorry it's been a while since I've updated this book guys but I hope this chapter is worth it, I had a lot of fun writing this chapter.

Who in RWBY would you be?
I think I'd probably be Blake
