3 - "straight through his black heart"

Another day passed, another day gone since I left my teammates.

I walk around the house my head not really with it when I hear my mum and Sunny talking.

I wonder where Blake is.

I go to walk past the room mum and Sunny are In when Sunny calls out to me.
"Silver! Join us!" I roll my eyes but decide not to argue against it as I sit between them both.

"Sun here was just telling me some stories about his time with you and your sister at Beacon" mum tells me excitedly
"Oh" is the only reply I can muster
"Yeah so Blake jumped into action and Silver followed of course but the atlas girl, robot; Penny, interfered taking out the ships, that's when Silver's team found out she is a faunas." I roll my eyes
"Sounds dangerous" mum states a little weary
"Yeah but they were fine; there was also the time when Blake went on her training mission shadowing a huntsman with her team and she called Silver who then stole an airship an-"
"Stole an airship!" Mum raises her voice a little shocked
"Borrowed! How many times must I say that?" I shake my head
"Anyway she stole an airship and met Blake, they told me they tried to stop the train but it crashed into Vale and then it was all like fighting and shouting and stuff until Crimson and Torchwick were arrested" he keeps going on
"Sounds like you were very busy" mum comments drinking up the gossip
"Yeah, I'm going for a walk" I get up and leave the room just catching mum ask
"Silver and Lavender were close?"
"I honestly don't know, no one thought they were that close" Sunny's voice lowers but I just catch it as I head down the hall and out the door.

As I walk down the lane I feel like someone's watching my every move, I look around as I continue my stroll.

I hear a noise behind me, like someone jumping down from somewhere. I raise my head and slowly turn around,
"Ilia" the girl behind the mask snorts before raising her hand slowly to uncover her face.
"Silver"
"You've been watching us" i state
"Crimson misses you" She changes the subject, I roll my eyes before smirking
"I miss him to" she takes a step forward
"Really? Well come back the-" she asks
"Because if he were here right now I could grab my spear and stab it straight through his black heart" I glare at the girl who's face falls "stop pretending he cares, stop hoping he actually gives a toss about me, about you, he doesn't; he lost that ability a long time ago. Besides we both know it's not me you want to rejoin it's...." I leave the statement open as I give her one last look before walking straight passed her and heading back home having lost the interest in going to the centre of menagerie.

I head back towards the house, climbing up the side and swinging in through my bedroom window like I did when I was a kid.

"Why were you listening!" I hear my sister shout, so I head out to the balcony to see her hit Sunny.
"I told you I saw someone wearing a Grimm mask, you said White Fang members don't wear them here so-"
"I don't care" Blake interrupts "I told you I just want to be with my family, to be there for my sister, I don't care what the White Fang are doing"

I join them as I see her the second time tonight, Ilia
"It's Ilia" I speak up from my place besides Sunny, the two look towards the tree line spotting the figure on a branch
"What?!" Blake asks surprised
"Who's Ilia?" Sunny asks confused
"Crimsons sister" I spit
"Crimson, your psychotic ex" I roll my eyes and shake my head
"Nicely put" we turn towards Blake to gauge her reaction but before any of us say anything she's taken off after the prickly White Fang member. "Come on" I take off after her, looking back to beckon Sunny to follow who was letting mum in on what is happening, loudly I might add.
We take to scaling the buildings to keep up with the two girls ahead of us. Eventually they come to a stop on top of a flat roofed building, me and Sunny reach them resulting in Ilia grabbing her whip attacking Sunny but he falls back to avoid it.

Blake takes advantage of the distraction and kicks the scroll out of Ilia's hand which takes the girl off guard, she tries to get her scroll back.
"Grab the scroll, someone thinks it's important!" Sunny shouts tackling Ilia to the ground, she elbows him pushing him off heading for the scroll almost managing to grab it but I kick her back allowing time for Blake to grab the scroll.
Before we can react Ilia uses her whip and slashes Sunny who falls to the ground in pain
"Sun!" Blake calls heading to his side as I stare down Ilia
"You shouldn't have come back" she states sadly looking at Blake
"Your singing a different tune" she shakes her head at me and creates a rush of dust to allow for her to escape.

Blake cries muttering to herself as she puts pressure on the wound which is situated on Sunny's side just above his hip.
"Blake!" I call interrupting her sobs "we need to get him back home" she nods and I help her pick him up, us both taking one of his arms to help balance him to get him back.

Mum quickly bandages the wound and we leave him to rest for a while on the sofa.

Blake hasn't left his side for hours so I tell her to go to bed and I'll stay here to keep an eye on him. I watch his body relax and hear his breathing soften, the medicine must have kicked in finally.
