Silver Belladonna (Jaune Arc x oc)

6 - "Yes, for me"

The whole colosseum erupts with confusion and fear as we all see Blondie attack Mercury.

In the corner of my eye I see the rest of team RWBY stand to go join their teammate who is now being escorted to an airship.

"Everybody leave the colosseum in an orderly manner" Oobleck calls over the intercom
"Single rounds will continue tomorrow" Professor Port explains

"Why would Yang do that?" Lav asks slowly
"I don't think she knew" I mutter
"How can she not know what she's doing?" She asks confused
"I think someone's messing with her" I speak my mind
"Well we'll ask her later or her team" Coral decides

We head onto an airship and down to beacon, upon arrival we head straight to our dorm leaving the door open to hear when team RWBY leaves.

A door opens and we all peak out to see Weiss and Blake speaking to team JNPR
"How is she?" Ash asks
"She's doing the best she can" Weiss replies
"Is there anything we can do?" Jaune speaks from in team JNPR's dorm as Ruby joins her teammates
"Well, Phyrra and Silver" me and Nikos look at the little rose "try and get a win for Beacon" she  smiles
"It's what Yang would want" Weiss agrees
"I'll do my best" Phyrra looks up but she doesn't seem confident, well to be honest she looks completely out of it. 

I'm drawn out of my thought when I hear Blake clear her throat
"I'll see what I can do little rose" she smiles at me

"Coffee?" Weiss offers Blake
"Tea" she nods and the two girls leave followed by the little rose

"You heard the lady! No more moping around! We gotta get your butt in shape for the big fight! It could be tomorrow, it could be the most important fight of your entire life! Both of you!" She turns to me and my eyes widen in slight shock but majority fear. I hate to admit it but Nora creeps me out a bit.

"Nora's right." Ren joins the conversation calmly. "You can't let your concern for Yang hold you both back. You need to focus. You'll be defending the honor of Beacon Academy."
"Of course" Phyrra nods looking concerned

Ren holds out a glass with a gross looking green liquid in it to both me and Phyrra
"This blend of herbs and vegetables is filled with nutrients vital to your body's well-being."
"I'm not drinking that" I comment as Phyrra tries to let him down nicely
"Oh that's lovely but..."
"There's no need to thank me." He smiles

"Thank you? Ugh, that looks like slime from a lakebed!" Nora holds her nose grossed out, for the first time I nod agreeing with the energetic girl
"Algae contains numerous spectacular properties. See for yourself." He gets Nora to drink some and I cringe as I see her go a sickly green. She quickly heads to the bin to throw it back up
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? Ugh..." she shouts
"Me? You're the one that wasted perfectly good juice."
"We're supposed to help Silver and Pyrrha, not poison them!"
"There was absolutely nothing wrong with that." Ren points to it
"If it looks the same coming up as it does going down, then there's something wrong!" She states with her hands on her hips

"Okay, okay let's take a step back and calm down." Coral finally interferes breaking up the madness "perhaps we should go for a calming walk" she suggests
"That sounds lovely" Phyrra comments looking relieved
"I suppose" Nora shrugs as Ren takes off his apron

We head outside and to the fair where Nora and Ren split off from the group to play some games and eat some fun treats. Coral and Ash head off to get some food as Phyrra and Jaune head off together leaving me with Lav, not that me and Lav aren't friends it's just we're very different and don't tend to spend time just the two of us.

"We could go play some games?" She shrugs as I tilt my head and raise my eyebrows unimpressed "oh come on Silver" i huff but lead the way to a game.

Cans are stood up and you have to knock them all down with a ball. But no matter how many times Lav tries she couldn't get it.
"Argh, I have to win it I've already convinced myself that I need that purple fluffy bunny" she complains as she goes to take her last go
"Give it" I hold my hand out gesturing for the ball she's holding
"Okay" she hands it over and I line up the shot and eventually throw. The ball goes over the cans but bounces off the back of the stand and knocks all the cans off. I see Lav's smile return when the guy hands her the bunny.
"That was amazing Silver!" She complements hugging my arm
"It was nothing" I shrug but I can't help the small smile that appears on my face.

Timeskip- next day at colosseum

"The randomiser has started" Professor Port narrates as we all stand waiting for the result to see who's fighting next
"Silver Belladonna" I hold my head high as I step forward slightly "and she will be fighting...."
"Sun Wukong" I grin nodding as he steps forward
"This should be fun" Sunny mirrors my expression
"Yes, for me" I comment
"Ha! Sure" he winks as we face each other

"Everyone else leave the stand" Oobleck calls
"Fight!" Port calls and Sunny goes straight for the first hit which I jump back from missing it completely. I wield my spear and go to hit him in the chest but he dodges fairly easily.
I knew it would be difficult if I was to be put against him, I've seen him fight I know he's strong physically so I'd have to outwit him.

After a boring well matched battle I let him get a hit in and as he's looking down on me teasing me looking proud, I kick him and knock him off the platform causing his aura to deplete and he's out.

"Looks can be deceiving" I comment holding my hand out to him helping him up
"Well played Belladonna, well played" he wheezes slightly holding his side where I had kicked him
"And after that smart move the victor is Silver Belladonna from Beacon" I smirk at Sunny who grabs my arm and raises it up making me chuckle slightly

"Well done Silver!!!!" I hear the voice of the little rose stand out from the crowd, I simply shake my head towards the loud girl as me and Sunny step off the platform heading to the stands to watch the last fights.

Once we get there we notice that Little Rose had left,
"Where's the little rose?" I ask Weiss
"She said she had to do something" she shrugs

"The next fight will be Penny Polendina from Atlas and her opponent will be Phyrra Nikos from Beacon!" Port shouts out.
"Fighters are you ready" the two girls get ready starting with there weapons by there sides "3..2..1... Begin!" Oobleck announces the match
