3 - "I'm Silver"

"Come on, get up" I wake to the feeling of someone poking my stomach "Goodwitch said we should get something to eat before the tour of the school" I quickly change making sure my ears and tail aren't on show and I grab my weapon.

My weapon is a bow with special arrows, each contains a different type of dust though some are just normal arrows which are stored in my gorgeous black and silver quiver. What makes my bow so special however is it can turn into both a crossbow for quicker combat and a spear for close combat. I am very proud of Shadow, yes I named it, I know it's odd.

"Alright I'm up" we both manage to find our way to the hall for breakfast.

I have pancakes whilst my sister has toast, I continue to yawn as I eat.
"Looking forward to our first day" my sister asks me
"Yeah I guess, more curious as to how we form teams" she hums

"All first years follow me" Goodwitch speaks
"Come on" me and my sister follow Goodwitch along with the rest of the first years
"Gather around here please" she gestures to the space in front of her "these are your lockers, you will have one assigned to you in a minute. Your locker can go to a location through a six number digit code that you will type into your scroll should you need it. Your assigned locker is next to your name on here and your key is also next to it, on this key there is a little code, the six number digit code for your locker" she moves aside for us to grab our key and to type in our locker number into our scrolls "now you will all follow Scarlet, a second year, who will show you around the school"
"Thank you Professor" Goodwitch nods and then leaves us with Scarlet "shall we"

We are shown around the gardens, the classrooms, the cafeteria and the area where the dorms are.
"That is all but if you have any questions feel free to seek me out or speak to a professor, good luck today" Scarlet says before leaving us to explore ourselves
"Should we go outside" I ask Blake and she nods; so we both exit the school and sit on a wall outside

Timeskip

This is where our journey as huntresses in training begins.

We are currently standing on a cliffs edge in front of both Professor Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch
".....it would be best for you to be partnered with someone whom you work well" Ozpin continues "that being said the first person you make eye contact with in the forest is your team mate for the next four years. Your mission is simple you are to head North until you find the abandoned temple, you will pick up a relic and make your way back to the cliffs and protect your relic until everyone is back. You will meet opposition on the way, do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die, we will be monitoring you throughout this task however we will not interfere. Are there any questions?" He finishes
"Yes I have a -" the blonde dorky looking boy who was sick on the plane starts but he is just ignored
"Good" Ozpin nods "get into your positions"
I grab my spear and hold it at my side.
"Sir I have a question...."

It isn't long before I'm shot in the air, I open my arms enjoying the feeling of freedom, I notice I'm coming close to the ground so I shift my spear into my signature bow and grab an arrow out of my quiver, and a rope which is around my waist; I attach it to the arrow and shoot it, making sure to hold onto the rope and I swing towards the tree it's attached to, I flip and land on the ground
"Wicked" I grin as I look around the forest, I start walking trying to find someone; my new team mate but my path is closed off by three Ursa "hi" I greet as I ready my bow.

And I shoot, the arrow explodes when it makes contact with the Ursa's skin, I grab another arrow and ready it but it's to close for my bow so I switch it back to the spear, I dodge it's claws and eventually throw the spear and it kills the next Ursa, I use my semblance to turn myself invisible so I'm able to grab my spear, I head towards the last one when it falls at my feet, dead.

I deactivate my semblance
"I could have handled that" I tell the boy bluntly
"Never said you couldn't" he replies, i huff
"I'm Silver" I reluctantly introduce myself and hold out my hand for him to shake, he chuckles before taking my hand and shaking it
"I'm Ash"
"Nice to meet you" I simply say just to be polite
"You to, teammate" I nod "we should probably go" I nod again as we both head off; hopefully in the direction of the abandoned temple but I can't say I'm a hundred percent sure, my sense of direction is abysmal.
