4 - "We'll see"

The doors hanging off it's hinges, that's the first thing I notice.

We head in cautiously coming face to face with a battle scene, including dad vs Corsac and Fennec.

Me, saphy and Blake go on to help him but he stops us quickly

"No you three go find Kali, your friend here" he points at Sunny "will stay with me, you keep telling me he's good"
"We've got this" Sunny grabs his weapon
"Shut up and fight" dad huffs

I can't help but chuckle a little
"Saphy come on!" I drag her along as Blake follows behind us

We head towards the kitchen but on the balcony in the main room Ilia stands alone
"You shouldn't be here" she states as she eyes Blake
"Neither should you" I comment
"Go and find mum" Blake doesn't take her eyes off Ilia as she speaks
"I'm not leaving you" I confirm incredulously
"Go, I'll be fine" I see the determined look in her eyes and yank Saphy towards the kitchen door.

We open it to find my mum and an unconscious, perhaps dead, guard ducking behind the counter, keeping clear of the two White Fang members.

I push Saph towards mum as I call to the two other faunas' in the room

"Hey!"
"You should be on your way to Crimson" one comments clearly confused by my being here.
I go straight for them, spear in hand. Ones out in minutes, definitely not the best fighter. I turn on the second but he falls unconscious. Mum is revealed behind him holding a frying pan.
"Nice" i nod
"Ghira!" Mum runs through the door in a hurry and me and Saffy follow to see Ilia take out one of her own with her whip, she then falls to the floor in tears "I guess your sister was right"
I eye my mum before settling on
"We'll see"
"Hey!" Sunny makes himself known beside me.
"Hi" I reply void of emotion

The menagerie security finally arrive and a crowds emerged outside, dad goes to speak but Blake stops him to go herself.

She takes a deep breathe before pointing towards our home

"Humans didn't do this. We did this. Faunus. We did this to ourselves. We're just as capable of hate and violence as the humans but I don't think any of us would jump at the chance to point that out. So why are we letting Adam and his accomplice Crimson do it for us? By doing nothing and staying silent, we let others speak and act in our place. And if we're not proud of the choices they make, then we have no one to blame but ourselves.

This is the message Adam Taurus and Crimson Amitola will bring to the world if no one is willing to stop them! But we can stop them! You have to understand that all of you are looking for simple answers to a very complicated problem, and I can't give that to you." She pauses "I don't know how to make hate go away, I don't. But I know that this kind of violence is not the solution.

I understand that to ask you to leave your homes and protect Haven Academy is asking you to put your lives at risk, but that's what's at stake. So I'm going, and I'll stand by myself if I have to."

"You never have to stand alone" I join her side

"I'll go with you" we turn around to see Ilia's stood up, a guard goes to hold her back
"Not a chance" the guard states
"Let her come" Blake opposes
"After what she just pulled!" The guard raises his voice
"Yes"
Ilia joins us at the front as well as Sunny and
Saphy.
"I'll join you"
"Me too"
"I'll go"
"Same here"
"Me"

People start calling and raising there hands in the air.

"We're going to need to train them and get them armour, we need to protect as many faunas as possible" we all nod "and we'll need transport"
"We know a ship captain who owes us a favour" Blake comments

"I don't like you" Sunny turns to Ilia "you slashed me with your whip" he punches her and she calls out ow rubbing her arm "there now we're even" I roll my eyes making eye contact with Ilia.

I huff and leave the area
"Silver!" Blake calls out
"It's okay Blake, I understand her hesitance to work alongside me" I hear Ilia comment
"I don't think it's something you've done dear" I hear my mum intervene "your brother killed one of her teammates"

I tune them out and head down the street for another one of my head clearing walks.
