Stage 2 of the Chunnin Exams

We followed the instructor to the forest of death , she then proceeded to explain the rules about this exam . It was actually a interesting concept , fight one another for a scroll that you aren't even sure about .

I looked to my teammates,  Kaede seemed beyond nervous . It was understandable as she isn't really a fighter , she's been learning the healing jutsu because she felt like she didn't contribute to anything during our missions . Once we signed the consent form we were given a Heaven scroll , we decided that Takashi should carry it because he was the strongest physically , a person couldn't easily over power him like they could Kaede or myself .

We entered the Forest of Death and sat ontop of a tree branch while we discussed strategy . First , we have to find a group with an earth scroll . Second , we have to defeat them to take the scroll . Lastly,  we have to avoid the other teams and reach the tower in time.  Sounds simple enough on paper , but to actually do it is another task .

So we made a plan , when we are close to a group of people,  I will use my mind transfer jutsu and find out what scroll they have . If it's heaven I will make the person stumble as though they are ill but otherwise unbothered ,  if it's an earth scroll I will beat down the teammates with a surprise attack then throw the earth scroll towards Takashi who will be waiting nearby for the scroll .

Then I will return to my body that Kaede will be caring for , the person I possessed won't have a clue what happened and will probably panic after seeing his teammates down .

After we made our plan , we went into hiding until a group passed by . Withing 10 minutes of waiting , a group appeared near our hiding spot . It seems like they were looking for us or any other group to attack , I looked at Kaede and nodded at her . She stepped behind me and prepared to catch my body . I used my mind transfer justu on one of them , the person I possessed stumbled abit making his teammates look back at him confused . " You okay ?"one of them asked .

" yeah I'm fine "I answered . I looked around and whispered " so ...who are we looking for again ?" , the one teammates had a deadpanned expression " anyone with the scroll we need to pass "

I laughed lightly "obviously,  what I meant was ...what color scroll is it again ?" . The other teammate frowned " how could you forget ? You are the one carrying the scroll ". I nodded acting simple minded " right right sorry " . As the two teammates began to move , I quickly looked into his bag to find an earth scroll  . What ironic luck !!

I looked into the bushes where my team was waiting and nodded to Takashi . I then turned and I followed teammates of the guy I was possessing , I waited until I saw Takashi nearby before surprise attacking the two guys . I used whatever abilities I could find while I generated the Chakra of the body , to say the teammates were surprised was a understatement.  Honestly I thought they suspected me because of my questions but they probably assumed their teammate was tired or maybe he was a moron and that sort of behavior was normal .

After I knocked the two out , I turned to Takashi and threw the Earth Scroll to him . Once he caught it and put it in his bag  , I  undid the mind transfer technique and woke up in my own body which was in Kaede's care , Takashi quietly made his way back and smiled "not bad " . I smiled back , that was the easiest thing we had to do so far . If the rest of the exam is like this , we will pass so easily .

We decided that I would carry the Earth Scroll incase one of us was in trouble , at least the other would have a scroll . We made our way through the forest and we took our time , we took longer routes to avoid other teams because we did our task so there was no need for unnecessary fighting and using up our Chakra that we might need near the end of this exam .
