Owe a Favour

I immediately retreated up to stairs , what the actual hell ? . I spotted my dad coming to the bathroom so I quickly grabbed his arm " what is she doing here ?"

" well she said she was waiting for you so we invited her inside , is she your girlfriend?"

" what?!" I blurted out , I quickly soften my voice " no she isn't. And I don't plan on making her one . Please just send her home or something "

My dad sighed " you can't run away from confrontation forever Sora "

" Dad listed to me . If I step out of this house with a girl , I will die . Death is practically waiting outside for me ..."

My dad was confused , I stepped closer with my hands together in a plea " please , just help me escape my impending death and I'll owe you a favor "

" owe me a favor ?" My dad asked unsure.

I nodded " any favor , without a complaint or snarky remark ...please "

My dad sighed " fine . Which one do you want me to chase away first ?"

I gave him a confused look " what ?"

He chuckled " I saw Sakura waiting outside , she's the only girl you have a soft spot for and fear . So which one first ?"

I rubbed the back of my neck " it'll make more sense to ask Sakura to leave first since she's outside . If she sees April leave , I'll still die "

My father chuckled " okay " he walked downstairs just in time to see his wife , my mom , invite Sakura inside.

My father sucked breath in through his teeth " you're screwed "

I peeked my head out to see what my dad meant , and what I saw was definitely frightening.  April and Sakura stood across from one another , both of them have their arms crossed and were glaring at one another .

" why are you here ?" Sakura questioned

" my thoughts exactly , why were you outside his house ?" April shot back .

My mom smiled watching the girls go back and forth with their petty banter , sipping her tea . My father approached them " okay ladies , what's going on ?" , glancing at my mom with a questionable eyebrow raise .

April pointed at Sakura  " She's a home wrecker , trying to come between me and Sora "

Sakura frowned " excuse me ? Sora's my best friend!"

Ouch ...friend zoned 

My father cringed at those words , feeling my pain at those words .

April smirked " then why does it bother you so much ? Sora and I are making something special and you are ruining it "

Sakura clenched her jaw " If anyone is ruining anything , it's you "

April gasped " why you!"

My mother chuckled and stepped between the two " enough  ladies , I understand you both have a bond with him but don't tear at each other-- " her face twisted into realization , "Where's Sora ?"

That was my signal to book it , I ran upstairs , to my bedroom and slipped out the bedroom window . I made my way to some store to hide in , I didn't even look at which store it was . I ran in and hid against a large pot , my cousin suddenly peaked her head around the corner " What are you doing?"

I nearly jumped out my skin " Crap ! INO!"

She laughed " what's got you so freaked ?"

I sighed and rested against the pot " I'm in a situation , one I have no clue how to handle "

Ino smirked " the genius of the Yamanaka clan can't figure something out , how ironic "

"Shut up " I hissed . Ino leaned against the pot " it's that April girl isn't it ?"

I nodded , she shrugged " at least she's leaving today . You only need to hide for one day "

" unless she does something to permanently upset Sakura , then I have to face her wrath "

Ino suddenly sat beside me " what's the deal between you two anyways ?"

Curiously I perked my head up " what ?"

" you two are acting as though you are dating , but you are obviously not . Youre feelings for one another are so obvious to everyone except you two , so why don't you just ask her out and see how it goes ? " Ino suggested

" what are you? Cupid ?"

Ino chuckled " what's the harm of trying ?"

Rejection , heartbreak , regret .

" no , it's best that I don't " I whispered , Ino frowned " why ? What's stopping you ?"

" ...Sasuke " I stated , looking directly in her eyes . Ino's eyes widened before they cast downward " ...Sakura is still in love with him ?"

I bit the inside of my lip I don't know if she is , but based on everything that has been happening lately.  It's all I can think of . Sakura won't stop until Sasuke is back , I'd rather not put myself in the position where I'll be replaced once he returns. 

" I don't know . " I whispered before I stood , "thanks for the talk " I walked out the store .
