The Afterlife

It was dark , quiet and empty . I walked for a few hours and the darkness was never ending , I almost gave up hope until I saw a light in the distance,  I picked up the pace and ran towards the source to come across a small fire in a fire place and two large single sofa's pointed towards it.  On one sat a very familiar person , knitting a scarf " took you long enough" she stated .

"Grandma...what is this ...how are you here ?" I questioned still trying to figure it out , she chuckled " Im sure you can figure it out , my skylight "

My grandma's nickname for me made my chest clench , I looked around the dark abyss " am I dead ?" . Grandma hummed as she continued knitting " makes sense doesnt it ...I died when you were 5 years old"  I sat down on the chair beside her as the realization of my death sunk in.

She looked at me and smiled " you grew up so wonderfully , its a shame to see you here "

Quite some time passed as Grandma and I spoke , I told her about everything that happened in my life , and about my girlfriend Sakura . Grandma smiled " she sounds like a wonderful girl with a firey personality,  she balances you perfectly "

"She did ..." I whispered silently hoping that she was okay . Throught the entire fight I didnt even see her , being a medical nin , Im sure she had alot of cases on her hands  .

Suddenly my entire body glowed bright " what's this ?" , grandma chuckled "looks like you're getting a second chance . This time doesnt hesitate and believe in yourself "

I felt myself fading " but grandma...we still have so much to talk about..!" Grandma stood and wrapped the pink scarf around me " dont worry , for you it'll be a years but for me , Ill see you tomorrow "

I touched the pink scarf as grandma patted my head " make sure that Pinkette doesnt slip through your fingers , I wouldnt mind having conversations with her when you both die "

With that last statement everything went dark , soon the silence was replaced by my ears ringing and the darkness was replaced with a blurry sight . I was alive and unharmed yet I was trapped under alot of rubble , I tried my best to crawl put of the debris but it also seemed like a never ending battle. 

Suddenly a hand with fingerless black gloves ripped through the dirt  extending the fingers out to me . I graciously grabbed it and the person hoisted me out , the village was practically decimated but everyone was perfectly fine , just dirty . The person who pulled me out was Kakashi,  he smiled underneath the mask " Kakashi ?"

Kakashi suddenly hugged me then exited the embrace and looked around " we must find anyone else thats trapped down there "

I looked to the rubble , that place , beneath all the rubble , would have been my grave . A dark unmarked grave for 17 year old Sora Yamanaka ...that just makes my entire skin crawl .I dont know how I'm alive but I am grateful , hopefully the next time I die , itll be in a respectable and marked grave.  I began searching the debris for trapped civilians and found some children and some ninja soldiers . I noticed holes in my clothing where the poles impaled me but now its just bare skin  , one in my shoulder and one in my stomach . I touched the area of my stomach still in shock about the resurrection,  I mean how is that jutsu even possible on such a large scale of people?

"Sora!!"

My head snapped to the source to find Sakura , she was panting and full of dirt which meant she must've run here . I sighed with relief seeing her face , I was worried about her . Sakura ran up to me as I caught her in my arms hugging her tight , she suddenly cried in my arms like all the anxiety and stress was finally being released.  I held her close , she didnt have any battle marks or evident clothing rips  which meant that she was unharmed during the fight .

Sakura leaned back , her eyes searching mine then they led downwards , her eyes spotted my clothing rips . Her eyes widened as she looked back up at me , I didnt want her to lecture me right now about dying so I interrupted her thoughts with a deep longful kiss.  Sakura was first surprised by the action but melted into the kiss and pulled me closer with her arms wrapped around my neck .

We broke the kiss and leaned our foreheads against one another , someone cleared their throat behind us . When we looked it was Sai " Kakashi went to search for Naruto , we are all meeting up to welcome Naruto back "

I nodded " lets go " we turned and walked to the direction, Sakura eyed me and looked down at my exposed stomach , she reached out and brushed her finger against it . It was sort of tickleish so I jumped alittle , Sakura smiled at that " remind me to lecture you later "

I laughed " yeah no , Im not stupid . I will definitely be forgetting that " Sakura smiled back as we reached the crowd to welcome Naruto home .

When Naruto came home we celebrated his return and made him feel welcome , everyone were given tents that night and Sakura and I decided to share on . That night we chose to further our relationship by sharing eachothers bodies with one another.
