Mission Debrief

The next morning came quickly , I sat up and stretched before looking around the room . Sai was gone and so was Takashi , only Naruto remained asleep . I got up , got dressed and rolled up the futon before I made my way outside . I spotted Takashi sitting next to Kaede as she giggled at his words , I smiled softly at their cute interaction .

My mother approached behind me " Sora , there is something I want to discuss with you " . I turned to my mother " yes ?"

" we were put on this mission because of my Wynnd Wings , I know you are aware of Naruto's uncontrollable Chakra "

I nodded " yes I remember " , my mother returned the nod "well , Yamato has unique abilities to stop that Chakra but if he is distracted or if Naruto gives up a fight , I am to use my feathers to block his Chakra " . I took in the information and drawer my own conclusion " and if you can't or aren't able to , you want me to do it ?"

My mother nodded again "that's right . This mission is a delicate one and since it involves Orochimaru,  Naruto is bound to get emotional "

" I understand " is all I could say .

It was time to head out as we walked together with team kakashi , unlike yesterday where we walked separately.  Today we walked in between one another , Naruto walked beside me as Takashi was walking beside Sakura and Kaede . At one point Yamato went off the trail into the woods , his team was confused and asking questions . Yamato stopped and explained that there was a possibility of a trap and that we had to stay hidden for the remainder of the trip . His team quickly accepted the news and followed quietly , we traveled till night fell. 

We came across a large open field and Captain Yamato used his wood style Justu to make a huge lodge , I raised my eyebrow " what a handy technique " , Yamato chuckled and led us in after his team . We walked up the stairs and entered one large room , it wasn't comfortable looking but a roof is a roof . We chose our places to sleep for the night and got comfortable,  My mother sat beside Yamato as he lit the candle " Alright gather around . Sakura tell me everything about the Akatski member Sasori "

We sat around the candle as Yamato explained his role as the fake Sasori , he told them that they would be his back up . Incase  of a combat situation they will enter first , when it seems to go out of hand , our team will enter next . He then appointed the buddies for the mission " Ao sensei and I will buddy for this mission . Kaede and Takashi will team up , Naruto and Sai will buddy and finally Sakura and Sora . Remember that thus mission is more delicate "

I half expected Sakura to refuse and ask to be teamed with Naruto since they've been teammates for a long time but she didn't day anything,  she only nodded and accepted the team up. We went to sleep with the mission on our minds .

That very next day we sat and watched Yamato test Sai and Naruto's teamework , Sai seemed more skilled but tried to hide it to keep his cover . We watched from the sidelines as Yamato's team tried to build some sort of bond . Naruto still didnt seem to accept Sai as a teammate , something that would have seemed ridiculous to me but since I knew Sai had other motives behind this mission , it seemed like a smarter tactic . After a long training attempt we made our way to the bridge , we watched Sai use his jutsu with paint mice to find out if there were people on the other side . Once it was determined that it wasnt a trap , Yamato used his wood style and transformed into Sasori.

I crossed my arms " that's him alright,  a perfect replica " , Sakura looked at me then at Yamato " Sora's right . You look exactly like him " . Naruto looked at me " oh thats right , didnt you fight him ?" , i shook my head " No , Kankuro is the one who fought him . I fought Deidera " , Naruto thought for a bit before nodding . Yamato ignored the small chat and continued with his disguise,  he made his voice just like Sasori . After that , Yamato made his way to the bridge in his disguise as we found a place to watch from a distance. It was now a waiting game
