The science slowly faded , as voices began to register in my brain . The beeping of a heart monitor and chatter from multiple people that I couldn't identify . The voices became clearer as the chatter died down.

" Mrs Yamanaka , Im sorry . There's nothing we can do about his chakra . Its become unstable with the irregular chakra distribution"

"I know" my mother's voice sounded so calm and understanding,  she already knew everything the doctor was telling her .

I squinted my eyes and slowly opened them as light poured into my view , I was laying on my back , in a hospital bed in a tent. Monitor's hooked up to my chest and a IV in my wrist , my mother's face looped over me ,  a small smile on her lips " You're finally awake "

My voice was hoarse " how long?"

" A few weeks , your body needed the rest "

" where is everyone ?" I asked

" sakura is with lady tsunade . Naruto is talking to his friends and Sasuke is in prison "

" in prison ? What happened?"

" Naruto defeated him , he lived up to his promise and released everyone . Things are slowly turning to normal "

" Naruto beat Sasuke ? " I chuckled bit " I owe him a drink "

My mother smiled as she helped me sit up slowly , the tent door opened revealing my dad , I smiled brightly " Dad ? You're okay !" I wanted to climb out of bed but my mom stopped me as my dad chuckled and walked over " Im okay , I was stuck in a wonderful yet boring dream "

He placed a hand on my shoulder " I heard what happened , Im proud of you son "

" proud ? I didnt do anything "

" you did alot " my father smiled and stepped back , the tent door opened again , with the sound of something dropping . My head snapped up at the sound and I saw Sakura with a wide eyed expresson and empty hands , by her feet was a bowl that toppled over and a wash cloth .

My dad cleared his throat " we'll...give you some time alone " my mom followed my dad out as Sakura stood there , hair grown abit more . I slowly climbed out of the bed and pulled the iv and heart monitor off before turning to Sakura . She ran up to nr and pulled me slowly into a tight hug , my arms wrapped around her as she relaxed in the embrace . " thankgoodness you're awake "

" im just glad you're okay Sakura "

She pulled back and leaned in with a sweet kiss , gently but hungrily . I couldn't help but smile , it finally felt like everything was over , I could relax now .

Someone cleared their throat behind us , Sakura and I turned our heads to the sound to find a nurse . Her cheeks were buring red as she avoided eye contact " Im sorry to intrude , Im your physio therapist "

" but ...I didnt look a limb or break bones "

" no , but you lost a important part of your chakra points , now your chakra is running amuck without direction.  Im a therapist for chakra development and training . Your friend Lee had to see me several times a week after his fight in the chunnin exams "

" oh that makes sense " Sakura stepped back as the therapist stood behind me " I need to see the damage . I know itll be difficult but try and bring your wings out."

I closed my eyes and tried to focus , the therapist was right , it was extremely difficult to bring them out , but I focused and forced them out . The therapist hummed " yes...yes I see "

I opened my eyes to see a sorrowful expression coming from Sakura , curiously I looked to my left and saw my wing perfectly fine, vibrant with chakra , a bright strong hue of blue , I then looked to my right to find a dim and hardly noticable wing , it looked like it was made out of glass and then dropped , and then a half-ass attempt to stick it back together again.  It was a truly sad sight which made my stomach turn , knowing about the damage and seeing the damage are two very different things.

" what do you feel ?" The therapist questioned , I frowned  " I feel my left wing perfectly but my right....its numb...I cant feel it anymore "

The therapist nodded " yes I see . Your chakra cannot flow to it anymore , thats why its out of balance.  You will need to relearn how to use your wings again ...well...wing . Your right one will have to be completely removed , to avoid any further problems with your chakra "

"I ...I understand "
