Jealousy

While hanging out with our group of friends,  I sipped my soda as Sakura giggled at whatever Ino said . Naruto , Kiba and Takashi were talking about fighting postures of all things , Kaede and Hinata were having a conversation with Shino mentioning something now and then , Choji was munching the food that was laid out on the table and Shikamaru chilled beside me watching everyone .

It was relatively a calm day , that was untill we heard a squeal " Takashi!" A girl came into view and hugged Takashi from the back , Kaede immediately stood ready to throw hands . The girl giggled and rubbed her face against Takashis back , my eyes widened in realization " ...April ?"

The girl had the same long black hair in a Plat as she did when we were younger , her head snapped in my direction " oh ...my god...Sora !!" She jumped from Takashi to me , wrapping her arms around my neck , forcing the side of my face against her chest ' someone help me !' I wanted to scream .

Everyone in the group eyed this girl with curiosity and confusion,  Sakura especially.  My mother's chuckle interrupted everyone's thoughts " look who came to visit , Lady April . "

" yeah I've noticed " I grumble , trying to peer April's arms away , April giggled thinking I was playing around " Oh Sora , you were so cute the last time I saw you , now you're so handsome !"

Oh my god someone save me

Sakura put on a fake smile " so April ..how do you know Takashi and Sora ?"

April smiled as she released her grip on me "  a few years ago , my mother hired team 13 to be my protection.  We were what ? 12 then ? Now you're all so grown already "

Hinata smiled softly " that's so nice "

April smiled " I'm going to be here for a few days ...Sora will you mind showing me around ?" She hugged my arm to her chest , intentionally.

" uh..." I couldn't find the right words to reject her request nicely . Sakura spoke up " actually Sora was going to help me in the library..."

Were we ? I don't remember making such plans with her today .

April eyed Sakura and smirked slightly " oh but I'm only here for a few days , I'm sure he can help you out another time , right what was your name ? "

Sakura frowned " Sakura " she began to glare at April , April returned the glare with a snarky smirk . Shikamaru sighed as Naruto whisper commented " it's like that time Ino and Sakura fought...over Sasuke "

April happened to hear Naruto's comment " well then Sakura can keep Sasuke all to herself..." she suddenly pulled me closer to the point I was almost out of the chair " ...and I'll keep Sora~~"

The air was getting way to tense , why was April challenging Sakura like this ? " uh...April , I don't think I can help out ...I've actually got a training with my mentor " . It wasn't a lie , I was meeting my water style mentor later .

April pouted " can't I come ? It's been so long since I watched you train ?"

You literally knew me for a total of 3 days , why are you being like this ?

She smirked at Sakura as she pulled me out of my seat " let's go!"

I tried to refuse without being rude " but I didn't agree ..hey !"

As April pulled me along , I wiggled out her grip " what was that about ?"  I called her out on her behavior . April gave a soft smile " I was just happy to see you guys again,  I had such a crush on you Sora and when I saw you I have to confess , my crush hasn't disappeared "

" and the way you were challenging Sakura ?" I asked not even addressing her confession .

" she was obviously bothered by our hug , like she also likes you so while I'm here , I'm going to make her jealous by being clingy "

I raised my eyebrow " you think making someone jealous is okay ? It's not a good thing April "

April smiled and hugged my arm as we walked " maybe...but she's my love rival now so I have to make sure she knows that she's not the only girl "

I finally realized how bold April was being " you like me ? Why ? We've only hung out for 3 days ...it's not a long time "

April smiled " it was long enough to see the type of person you are . Can we maybe date ?"

" uh April , I am flattered but we don't really know each other..."

April nodded understandably " okay , then let's hang out until we know each other . Can I hold you and hug you like this ?"

" uh...well it doesn't bother me ...just don't shove my face into you please , that made me uncomfortable "

April smiled " deal "

Oh boy...a storm is brewing
