Dashi, Tweak, and Ryla are a trio of besties because whenever Ryla comes over, she and Dashi hang out so much, and Dashi didn't want Tweak to feel left out so she invited Tweak to come hang out with them as well and now all three of them are best friends.
Bianca and Pearl were best friends from
the second they met and began embarrassing their little brothers and showing off their adorable children.
The cubs and Peri play together every time they meet, and on the way to the Octopod, Bianca and Pearl get an earful on how much they love playing with each other and how cool they think all the older kids are.
Paani and Kwazii are simultaneously best friends and bitter rivals. One minute they'll be climbing the Octopod using Tweak's suction cup suits and the next, they'll be fighting about who is the bigger daredevil.
When Peso's and Pinto's mother comes and starts kissing them all over their faces and badgering them about self care, they physically cannot be embarrassed by her because they're too happy to see her to care.
