Everyone on the Octopod has things they should be doing, but don't do because they don't want to.
The Captain knows he should attend a meeting of the Captain's Committee sometime, but he never has because he has better things to do (like give his crew cuddles and dress up for the Vegimals).
Tweak knows she probably should start being a bit nicer to Kwazii, but she never does because a. he's too annoying, and b. he's so much fun to tease and he has the greatest reactions to all the insults she uses on him.
Dashi knows that she should probably watch a horror movie for once instead of burying her face into Tweak and refusing to even peek, but she never does because horror movies are too scary, Tweaky's shoulder is so soft, and she needs someone to cuddle her so she doesn't get too scared.
Kwazii knows that breaking the Gups almost every other day probably isn't a good idea and will get him killed, but it's just so FUN to crash Gups and watch Tweak get mad.
Shellington is aware that his social skills should be beyond the point of hiding behind someone instead of asking for a favor, but he still does it anyways because he's Shellington and he's too shy and awkward for his own good.
Peso probably should not be as nice as he is to everyone, but he can't help himself. He's hard-wired to be a pure little cinnamon roll who can't harm a fly.
All of the kids have been so backed up with schoolwork that they should do but don't because they have better things to do like reading Donna Doxi fanfiction and snooping through Peso's medical books.
