The littler ones on the Octopod have had their innocence ruined at one point or another in their lives, whether it was accidental or not.

The Vegimals are the one exception to this rule. No one dares to ruin their innocence, and if anyone did, all the Octonauts will rip them apart bit by bit.

Koshi lost her innocence the day she read Donna Doxi fanfiction. She went in thinking, "Donna Doxi is so good, why does anyone have any reason to write bad fanfictions about it?" She came out of it knowing way too much about Donna Doxi's... lady part.

When Inkling tried to show the kids some documentary about the Tudors once they were a bit older, he forgot to see if there was anything... inappropriate in it, so when he left the room for five seconds, the kids got a full on view of Anne Boleyn getting beheaded and Henry the Eighth and Jane Seymour... doing it. He immediately turned it off and sent the kids right to bed afterwards.

Peso lost his innocence when he was 11 and it was time for their reproduction unit, and he was like "Wait, Pinto wasn't dropped from heaven?" When he learned how babies were actually made, and was nearly traumatized when he learned how octopi and mammals make babies in medical school.

Dashi has accidentally watched Sweeney Todd (a musical about a serial killer who's victims got baked into pies) because someone put it in the Mary Poppins DVD case, and ran to Tweak for protection, and Tweak ended up cuddling Dashi for hours and promising that she wouldn't let any bad people hurt her, ever.

Squirt accidentally discovered Rule 34 for Thor fan art while he was trying to find a drawing of Thor he really liked, and our innocent little octopus boi was changed forever.

Jane has been exposed to horror movies since she was 9, so she already got all of the nightmares out of her system at a young age. In fact, she's so unfazed by blood and gore, it's scary.

Pinto lost his innocence while looking through his brother's medical books, and was morbidly curious about whether or not canines and penguins could make babies for... experimental purposes.
