Everyone has different reactions to seeing blood and gore wherever, and their reaction can differ vastly.
Many people expect Peso or Shellington to be the kind of person who faints at the sight of blood, but Peso's a medic. The only 'worried' he gets about blood and bone and open wounds is that it must hurt for the person who had them and he wants to make them all better.
Shellington is a scientist and therefore is quite used to dissecting things in the name of Science, so he's not too queasy at the sight of blood.
Dashi just doesn't like blood. She gets scared whenever tone of her sisters starts bleeding for whatever reason and rushes them to Peso, but she can tolerate blood due to the fact that she's a woman and once every month...
Tweak's used to getting her hands dirty, so a little bit of blood (as long as it's her own never bothered her). She's seen so many scary movies that she's gotten used to criticizing how bloody kills are. If anyone she loved bled, she'd be all over them and refuse to let them out of her sight.
The baby Vegimals can and will faint at the sight of blood. No explanation needed.
The Captain was never perverse to a tiny bit of blood, but he's freaked out when his 'children' got so much as a paper cut.
Kwazii swears nothing phases him, but the first time he watched a slasher film with Tweak, he was like "AHHHHH, BLOOD!" when the bad guy first killed someone.
The kids are (mostly) unaffected by blood. They've all seen scary movies before, so they won't faint at the sight of blood. In fact, Jane's so unfazed by blood and gore that she's seen all the 'Saw' movies (very graphic movies where people get tortured) and has not flinched once.
