Bribery

Bribery is probably used far more than it's supposed to be used on the Octopod. It's never anything too severe, just a tiny little bargain between two people.

Kwazii often has to be bribed with food to bathe or be nice to Tweak. There have been days where the Captain has been desperate enough to promise Kwazii candy if he stopped making funny faces faces at Tweak every time she turned her back on him when the Octo-Agents were visiting.

Kwazii isn't exactly guilt-free either. Both he and Tweak have bribed the kids to not repeat anything they overheard Kwazii and Tweak say to each other or any swear words they learned from them.

He's even tried to promise to make the Captain vanilla kelp pudding if the Captain stopped playing the accordion in their pod. (It didn't work).

Dashi has tried bribing Tweak with hugs to get her to go to the mall or pose for a photo, but Tweak knows for a fact that she gets free hugs from her regardless because this is Dashi, she cannot go a single day without hugging one of her favorite people in the world.

Her theory was proven when she said she wasn't going to take a photo regardless of how many hugs Dashi would give her, and Tweak pretended to be sad about not getting any Dashi hugs, and so Dashi gave her a hug to make her feel better. (Tweak ended up posing for a photo for her anyways because she cannot say no to Dashi).

Dashi is very good at bribing people. She knows everyone on the Octopod and everyone close to her well enough to figure out the perfect bribe for each of them so both of them get what she wants. (Except when she tells her sisters that she'll let them stay up an hour later on Friday night because she knows for a fact that they won't be able to stay awake for that long, but it's just a little friendly trickery.)

Shellington has never had to bribe the Vegimals before cos they're all so sweet and cute and they will agree to do everything and anything "Shellydo" asks them to do because they love him so much.
