Even though everyone loves each other like family on the Octopod, some of them could not be more different.
Peso and Kwazii are close as brothers, but they're practically from different planets. Other than both of them being complete softies, Kwazii does stupid things while Peso is sensible, Kwazii hates cold weather while Peso loves it, Kwazii yells a lot, Peso is a quiet boi, etc, etc.
Squirt is a big "Phantom of the Opera" fan, and even though he can sing well, he doesn't feel he can ever do the Phantom's part right due to the fact that the Phantom is a manipulative, controlling, menacing figure while he's on Peso's level of sweet and physically cannot behave meanly to anyone.
Even though Dashi and Tweak are besties, they do not have too much in common. Dashi is a girly-girl, Tweak is a tomboy, Dashi loves pink, Tweak hates it, Dashi is a fan of pop music, for Tweak, it depends, the list goes on and on and on.
The Captain may seem to be cold, stern and rigid at first, but he's actually the polar opposite (pun intended). He loves his crew with all his heart and makes sure they know he does and he'd do anything physically possible for his crew.
The baby Vegimals are not what people expect from ships' cooks. The food they make is delicious, and whenever anyone enters their kitchen, all the cuties run to give them a hug and force treats onto them
