No One's POV (proofread)
"You've got to be kidding me Kai, you've been dating this girl for months and didn't think it was an issue" One of the warblers exclaims as they corner Kai in the back room, Kai looks over and glares at Sebastian who looks like he's enjoying this a lot
"What proof does he even have to say I've dated her for months" Kai says not trying to admit anything even though she was caught read handed, Sebastian smirks and hands the phone to one of the guys who comes over to Kai
"This proof..not that we needed any" He says as she shows a picture of Mercedes and Kai, she sees it's from the fair date after Sectionals and Kai sighs in defeat
"Explain yourself" One of the guys says disappointedly
"I've known her since the beginning of Summer.....I-I really like her and I couldn't just leave her" Kai explains but the guys aren't having it
"You broke the code and as our leader it is your job to enforce it...not to mention that Sebastian caught you" Another Warbler says
"He was blackmailing me, isn't that against a code or something" Kai says irritatedly
"Don't point this to me, your the one that lied to us and how do we know your not helping the New Directions on the side" Sebastian says and all the guys look at Kai disappointedly and she clenches my jaw in anger
"I'm not helping them, I'm just dating Mercedes" Kai says annoyed as her mind starts to analyze everything
In the New Directions back room
"I can't believe you lied to us Mercedes', we asked you if you and her were together and you denied it" Mr.Shue says disappointedly
"Yea, you broke our trust and how do we know your not helping the Warblers" Tina says sadly
"I'm not helping the Warblers, if I was then I wouldn't be using Kai to do it..I'm not that kind of person" Mercedes says defensively
"But you are the type to lie and go against the rule I clearly stated at Sectionals...do you have any idea how the could effect us" Mr.Shue scolds her
"I personally don't care I mean she's cute" Santana says as she flies her nails
"Yea and we all knew Kurt was dating Blaine when he came back" Quinn says causing Kurt and Blaine to look at her shocked
"With all due respect Mr.Shue, I knew about everything and Kai isn't trying to find things out about us, she and Blaine are even best friends and he knows she'd never do that" Kurt says defending his best friend
"Yea and like Mr.Shue your kind of a hypocrite" Brittany says shyly causing Mr.Shue to look at her confused before looking at Mercedes
"Mercedes i am so disappointed in you, you lied and could have put the New Directions in a difficult spot with this...I have to punish you for this" Mr.Shue says
"Punish me! When you haven't done anything to your favorite for stuff that was much worse than this..I get that I lied but you can't sit here and tell me that this is punishable when you don't do the same for the others and have no proof of Kai being a spy" Mercedes says angrily
"It's not about that right now, you have two choices either break up with this girl or your suspended from the New Directions" Mr.Shue says and Mercedes shakes her head in disbelief
"Mr.Shue, we need Mercedes and you can't suspend her for this when all you did to Sam was give him a slap on the wrist" Kurt says furiously
"Decide Mercedes, break up with this girl or face suspension" Mr.Shue says and Mercedes glares at him hard as she sees all the respect for her teacher leave in one swift motion
Back in the warblers back room
"Just break up with her Kai, there's plenty of girls around" One of the warblers says as he tries to convince Kai to break up with Mercedes' yet again
Kai looks at them and she can see that this isn't going to end good for her, she's already contemplating things in her head and she doesn't wanna take the easy way out but...she may have to if it can save her career and relationship
"I'm not breaking up with the girl that I love alright" Kai says angrily as she looks at the ground
"If we dont get first.....it's your fault" Sebastian says and Kai want so bad to smack the smirk off his face, the guys look at her with the same looks she sees at basketball practice
Disgust
"We have to head to the stage...make sure you have your decision by Monday" One of the warblers says as they all head to the stage, Kai stares off as her mind makes its self up in an instant
She gets up and walks out of the back room and heads to the stage, as she does she spots Mercedes' coming next to her
They both look at each other with defeated looks as they make there way to their respective glee clubs

Kai's POV
"And now to announce this years winner, the governors wife Carla Stevens" The announcer says and I just stare ahead, I see my parents looking at me and they can tell something is wrong
I just look down as the governors wife talks about the competition before finally getting to announcing the winners
"I'm bored let's just see who won" She says and I hold my breath as I feel the anxiety building in my stomach, i look to the guys who don't make eye contact with me then to Mercedes who is already looking at me
"The New Directions, your going to Nationals" Carla says and I feel my stomach do flips as I smile a bit, I see Mercedes' smile as her group celebrate and receive their trophy, suddenly a lady in a red track suit punches The Governor's wife causing us all to freeze
"Damn" I say under my breath
A/n ok well ima say this chapter I need to edit but I hope I'm building some suspense lol
