Kai's POV
I sit in my seat with tears in my eyes from Rachel's solo, I didn't like the girl that much but damn can she sing and make you feel something
I see why she gets so many solos but I'm not excusing Mr.Shue
I watch as my girl and The New Directions walk on stage as well as the other groups including the warblers
I see Sebastian's smug face as he things they will win but that choreography they had sucked ass, I'm biased but still
I clasp my hands together as the presenter of the awards comes out, didn't know that Perez Hilton of all people would be here
"And now it's time to announce this years winner of the individual show choir MVP award" The intercom guy says
"From Vocal Adrenaline, Carmel high, Wade Unique Addams" The Announcer says causing me to smile and clap for them, they did a great job I can't lie
"And now a round of applause to your top three finalists for this years National show choir championship" The intercom guy says
"In third place.....all thr way from Oregon, Portland Sailblazers" The intercom guy says and I let out a sigh of relief as does my family and Isaiah
"Thank god" Isaiah says but I shake my head
"It ain't over yet" I say as I stare at Mercedes who's holding Quinn and Tina's hands tight,y and her eyes are shut
"And now ladies and gentlemen quiet please.....congratulations to both teams standing with us on stage but now...it's time to announce a winner" The intercom guy says and I feel my nerves jumbling up and running through my body
"The 2012 national show choir champions.....from McKinley High in Lima Ohio, The New Directions" The intercom guy says and my family and I minus Emmanuel, junk from out seats and cheer loudly as the purple and blue confetti rains down
"YESSSSS THATS MY BABY" I scream as I cheer and hug my parents and Isaiah who's jumping with me
I smile at my beautiful girlfriend as she celebrates with her friends as the trophy is handed to them
Time skip
Isaiah and I rush through the hotel building as we try and find out girls, we run past some of the other contestants as we spot the other girls in the group
"Mercedes" I yell as Isaiah runs into my shoulder
"Quinn baby" Isaiah says as he almost falls, The New Directions look at us weirdly as our girls along with my boys walk out smiling at us
"Baby...oh my gosh you were amazing" I say as I rush to Mercedes and scoop her up in my arms as she giggles into my neck
I kiss her all over her face and neck and cup her face wile smiling at her proudly
"I'm so proud of you...geez you so talented...you all did so great I have ti say...ti was...amazing" I say as I look down at her Mercedes then to her friends who thank me
"Thank you baby....your support means so much to me" Mercedes' says and I smile and kiss her passionately till air becomes a problem
"Mercedes stop hogging my best friend" Blaine whines causing us to laugh as she pulls away and I pull him into a tight hug
"Can I join" Kurt asks shyly causing me to chuckle before pulling him into a hug as well, I look clear to see Quinn and Isaiah hugging and kissing
They pull away and I hug Quinn as my boy pull away and greet Isaiah, Quinn and I pull away just as Santana walk out
"Where's my hug bean stalk...I didn't hear my name being called" She says sassily as she struts out of the room
I laugh and walk over to her and pull her into a hug and she laughs into my chest, I see her girlfriend Brittany looking at us a little jealous
"Kai how good are your hugs" Brittany asks and I shrug and open my arms for her causing her to rush to me and hug me
"Wow they are good" She says as I wrap my arms around her shoulders
"Well they are for me so back off Brit Brit" Mercedes says jokingly as she pulls me away and clings to my side
The families come in and greet their kids with hugs and congratulations with Mercedes parents and brother greeting me and my parents and brother
I look over her Mr.Shue and walk over to him just as he shakes hands with Kurt's Dad who met at the car shop
"Hey Mr.Shue" I say causing him to look at me, his face changes slight to time of discomfort but I ignore it
"Hello Kai...thanks for the support tonight" He says and I nod
"No problem...I always supported y'all even when I was the competition...which leads me to why I'm came to speak to you" I say causing Mr.a Shue to cross his arms and look at me curiously
"I'm joining next year and I hope to lead you guys ti another championship...and I hope that me joining isn't going to cause issues..given our past and how you have come across to me" I say boldly causing Mr.Shue to look at me shocked
"It shouldn't if you don't cause drama" He replies and I chuckle bitterly
"I won't be the one causing it...but I'm sure that next year will be interesting" I say before walking away and toward some parents
As I do, I see Sam starting at me angrily along with Puck but I just smirk at them as I wrap my arm around Mercedes while she talks to my parents and hers
Theses boys wanna play games....I'll make sure to prove them wrong
