"People. People. Endless noise. And I am so tired. And I would like to sleep under trees; red ones, blue ones, swirling passionate ones." Fyodor Dostoevsky

Alasia didn't go to the Ministry for days after the incident.
She stayed home, rebandaged Sirius' wounds and when they were knit enough, she healed them magically. He was getting better day after day and she could see him pretending to feel ick sometimes, only so she doesn't decide going to the Ministry again.
"Choose a colour."
Sirius groaned. "Stay away from my toenails."
She rolled her eyes as if that were an absurd request. "Choose a colour and I'm enameling them."
Sirius glared but sighed in resignation when she didn't budge. "Hot pink."
"HA!" She punched the air. "I knew you'd choose that one."
"And how did you know that?" He narrowed his eyes at her.
"Because you own nineteen pairs of hot pink socks and you still insist on getting more when I go shopping."
"Don't you dare tell that to anyone." He grimaced. "Especially not Remus."
"What's Remus gonna do? Tease you?" She snorted, kneeling down to reach his toes. "He owns his own pairs of bright orange socks. You men scare me."
"He even folds them."
"Oh, yes." She chuckled. "Big furry Werewolf, he is."
Sirius laughed, looking down to where she was nail-polishing his toes. What had he gotten himself into?
Whatever it was, it was no less than haven. Even if it meant having to walk around with hot pink nail paint. She was everything to him. And he didn't have words, truly, for she'd been staying around, not even leaving him for a moment. And he loved it.
She was clingy - er, after he'd gotten hurt and he didn't blame her. If it had been her, he wouldn't have let her even walk on her own. But it warmed his heart to no ends, Merlin, he loved her so much and every time he'd think that no, one could possibly not adore someone more than this, the next day he'd wake up and look at her beside him - and he'd realise he'd fallen even harder.
"Are you making me breakfast?"
"I'm making you some tea," Alasia hummed from behind the kitchen counter.
"I love you,"
"I love you."
Sirius got up and walked to her, he didn't like her this far from her. He wanted her near, but nothing could ever be near enough when with Alasia. She was like a drug and Godric, he was addicted.
"Will you come cuddle with me in the bed?" He smiled lopsidedly.
"No," She glared, turning around. "I'm going to make you tea and then I'm going grocery shopping."
"Can I come along?"
"No, your calf still has wounds, you're basically limping and your back hasn't healed properly."
It kind of had, she was just making excuses. He knew she obviously did not want him to get hurt or exert himself very much but he was getting bored of being cooped up inside the house.
"Can we go to the beach?"
"No, go back to the sofa." She muttered.
"I'm sick!" He tried one last shot.
