"You look hideous."
"You look hideous-er."
She cast a look around, clearly vibrating a I-assure-you-I-don't-know-who-this-man-is look before glaring at Rhen.
He chuckled. "Prime got us both fine clothes, LayLay. Now would be the best time to stop complaining, her fourth is right by the door. In earshot."
Alasia rolled her eyes. Of course he was. Alex never left Prime's side. Some would say he was more second to the Prime than Rhen. He was supposed to be here tonight only as reinforcement. There wasn't going to be need for more. These were the second, third and fourth of the Prime of Assassination and god knew the group of people coming here tonight wouldn't stand a chance if they truly wanted to have them dead.
But Alasia didn't. She even had a plan formulated in her mind to get them away, to talk them out of it before Rhen or Alex got a chance to intervene. She'd tell them the risks, give them a way and make sure they never got back.
But Rhen would never agree. He shouldn't, really. Neither should she. If Prime ever got to know, her head would be on spikes.
"I do like the emerald colour." She hummed. "But I would've much more preferred a crimson one for tonight."
"Do you even have any other colour choices?"
"We've talked about this, dumbass." She looked up at Rhen. He was already looking at her. "No, I don't."
"Let's just go inside." He mockingly sighed. "I'm getting a headache discussing colours with you."
"Manchild." Alasia huffed and strode towards the gates of WIRED.
Two guards clad in black and another two bouncers, also clad in black were standing with their arms crossed in front of their chests. One of the guards, was Alex in disguise. He discreetly nodded at them both and asked for their identities and invitation letters.
She shoved two letters in his hand while Rhen showed their identity cards to the other guard. The letters weren't real but Alex would take care of it.
The two were permitted entry but the guard, across from Alex was staring at them oddly. She ignored, her heels clicking on the marble like gunshots as the two walked inside.
"I suggest you take my arm."
"Pardon?"
"It would look out of the place. There are only just couples or older males over here." Rhen said.
She looked around and indeed, there were only either creepy men or old and young couples around. She sighed and looped her arm through his.
He smirked and she dared him to say a word. Knowing she could very well cut off his favourite part, Rhen stayed silent.
"What's the plan?" She asked once they'd walked down the short flight of stairs into the main hall.
"The wizards are going to be in the ball. They've got some weird tattoos on their left forearms for identification. Once you find one, you notify me. And I'll do the same. There are four in total. We catch them, trap them and kill them. Clear?"
"Yes sir." Alasia dipped her chin, her hand rising to place a green and black mask on her eyes, concealing most of her face with her nose.
Rhen did the same beside her, his mask concealing the entirety of her face, leaving only his eyes for show. His, was a silver mask, two horns jutting out from above and how ironic, she thought with a roll of her eyes.
