March 15th, 1996

"You're going to eat only high-fiber foods,"

"No."

"Lots and lots of water —"

"I hate water."

"No smoking, soft cheese —"

"Ew."

"We're going running every morning —"

"I'm not a morning person."

"We're doing aerobic activities every evening —"

"I object."

"Kegel exercises, high calorie —"

"Stop, stop, stop!"

Sirius looked up and narrowed his eyes, "You are doing all of this."

"No." Alasia glared from where she was lounging on a chaise. "I'll go to work every morning and I'll wake up late, I'll have afternoon naps —"

"Yes, we're going to have half an hour of power naps,"

"This is so shite." she groaned.

"Well, we gotta keep the babe healthy, wife."

"My wedding night with you was literally spent in the hospital with me fighting for my life." She rolled her eyes.

"You weren't nearly dying." He commented. "And I did make up for it two days later once your wound was healed, did I not?"

A silly smile overtook her face, "Yeah, alright, when you remind me of that,"

Sirius chuckled, taking a seat at the edge of the chaise and placing her feet on his lap. "Do your legs hurt?"

She nodded absently, "A little."

He placed chaste kisses on her calf and then leant back, "Do we decide names now?"

"No."

"But —"

"We decide them after at least six months," She declared. "Or maybe when I start to show."

Sirius made a face but reluctantly agreed. "You are starting to show a little."

She gave him a blank stare, "Yes, but it's too small, barely a bump. We'll wait until our next appointment. Madame LaRue, the healer in St. Mungo's said when we visit the next time, she'll show us the image of our baby!"

"I love magic," Sirius breathed. "And I love you, baby."

"I love you, too."

"I was talking to your baby bump." He shrugged.

Alasia started to pull her feet back to herself when he grinned, "Alright, sorry - I love you, too."

"Thank you for your service," Alasia rolled her eyes.

Sirius started to laugh, the sound fading when there was a knock on their door. He looked at her, "Are you expecting?"

"Uh - yes?"

He sighed, "Are you expecting someone at the door?"

"No." she clicked her tongue.

Sirius frowned, "Stay here and do not move."

Alasia nodded, leaning to watch her husband move towards the door and open it but the view was obstructed by the wall and she nearly fell down, trying to watch.

She heard a few words exchanged before he was coming back with a regretful look on his face.

"Oh, no," She drawled. "What have you done now?"
