August 2nd 1997
Harry, Hermione and Ron had sent no word since they'd left. It hadn't bothered Alasia at first but she expected at least a patronus telling her they were safe since Harry had just turned seventeen.
Fifteen hours had passed and she sat on the couch in the aristocratic home belonging to the wretched Walburga Black.
Speaking of which, her yells rang loudly in the house and Alasia rolled her eyes, flicking her wrist to snap the curtains on top of her portrait shut.
"Mistress shouldn't have done that." came the squeaky voice of Kreacher. "Mistress doesn't understand that -"
"Shut the fuck up or I will feed you your own liver on a golden platter."
There was thud and the house-elf had vanished out of the room, hopefully out of her life as well. A clank came from in front of her and then a broody deep voice of a man that had just woken up.
"Eat,"
Alasia looked up at Sirius and his gaze that was everywhere and nowhere at once before sighing and shaking her head. "I hate mushrooms."
"You haven't eaten in a day," He pushed the plate further. "Leave the mushrooms have rest of the food."
"There are peas in there, too. I hate them more than mushrooms."
With a grunt and a groan, he was gone only to return a few minutes later with her favourite stew.
She looked up almost salivating at the smell before shaking her head stubbornly. "I'm not hungry."
He didn't make a sound for a while and she thought he'd finally left when a strong arm held her waist, hoisting her up like she weighed nothing even though she had a big babe in her body right now.
Sirius sat her on his lap, picking the spoon up and pushing it in her mouth. "You will eat."
"If you were going to do this, there was no need to ask." She sputtered between bites. "I don't like it."
She was lying. She loved it, she'd never had anything better and she was dying to have more but he will never find out.
After a few bites, she snatched the spoon to eat herself. He was feeding her too slow and she was starving. A small smirk formed on his lips as though he knew she was full of shit and that made her mad. Mad enough to get out of his lap and on the less comfortable, cold, empty sofa.
Sirius didn't say a word, only got down in front of her to massage her lightly swollen feet. "You ought to visit an apothecary for the swelling soon."
Alasia huffed, she wasn't planning on leaving the house for a long while. "I think I quite like you on your knees."
"You'd like me better between yours."
The stew went down the wrong pipe. Choking and wheezing, she turned to glare at him. Sirius was only looking at her all smug, "I have something better for you to choke-"
