Where do you see yourself in five minutes?
Where do you see yourself in five seconds, Alasia?
Where do you see yourself in fifteen years?
In the darkest part of Surrey a woman marked by struggle and battle and suffering and survival makes her way to...

Harry, she thought singularly. Her godson was in there. He was still fucking in there.
Everything happened so slowly, the wards around the Burrow broke in front of her eyes and wispy smoke figures she knew were about a dozen or more death eaters emerged out of the dark night sky.
She couldn't stay in the house, exhaustion be damned.
People were screaming and screaming and the only death eaters she'd seen had completely abandoned the area she stood in the moment his eyes had fallen on her.
"HARRY!" Her throat had seemed to close up. "HARRY?"
Ron barrelled into her side and with an expression of horror, looked at her bump. "Please don't tell Sirius, this was a rather urgent situation, I didn't see where I was going —"
"Ron, I don't think you have time for this right now." She scolded. "Where is Ha —"
A spell came towards the floating chandelier and before it could fall on them, she threw her hand up in the air — a circle of amber glowing in her eyes.
"Blimey," Ron had a grimace on his face. "I'm scared of you, I don't want to stand near you — I think I might piss my pants and that's not something I want the Death-Eaters to report back."
Alasia was exasperated as people stampeded around. "No one cares about that, Ronald!"
"You can't know —"
"Ron!" Hermione's soft voice was panicked as she ran towards them. "Ron, where's Harry?"
"I don't know," He yelled. "My brain doesn't work in crowds."
"What —" Hermione gaped before looking behind them, "THERE!"
Alasia turned just in time to evade a cruciatus curse with a strong protection shield. The impact was strong enough to shoot the curse back to the sender.
"Blimey," Ron breathed. "How many times did I say 'Blimey' today?"
Alasia lost focus and instead jogged towards Harry who was in the arms of Remus, bless him. "Harry! Oh, Salazar."
Harry turned as she took his face in her hands, "Are you hurt?"
"I'm alright," He nodded shakily, "Where's —"
"Harry!" Hermione shrieked. "We need to go, NOW."
Alasia was frozen, she knew he had to leave but a bad sixth sense wouldn't leave her alone.
"I'll clear the way," She told them all before turning around and bringing her wand out of the hidden pocket in her dress.
Yes, she was powerful without a wand, too but that was unfiltered magic. Unsiphoned. When cast with a wand, it had so much more power. And the Death-Eaters realised that when after so many strong wandless spells Alasia had cast — this one nearly killed them.
