Where do you see yourself in five minutes?
Where do you see yourself in five seconds, Alasia?
Where do you see yourself in fifteen years?
In the darkest part of Surrey a woman marked by struggle and battle and suffering and survival makes her way to...

Sirius's hand looked ashen today, Alasia thought. Usually it's all animated, steering her around. It was still, very still. Unbearably still.
"It's only been a few hours," She whispered to herself. "Not even a day, he'll be okay."
Footsteps that sounded like gunshots in the silence of this floor made her stand up in alarm. "Who is it?"
"Just me!"
At Harry's voice, she sat back down. Relief in her heart and soul, Merlin she was ready to raise inferi.
"Harry? Everything okay, darling?"
"I saw something." He breathed hard, all wheezy from running upstairs. "A vision. It wasn't like back in the Ministry two years ago. This really happening, I know it."
"Tell me,"
"Ollivander. Voldemort was there — said Ollivander lied to him about the fact that a different wand would help defeat me. Voldemort accused him of helping me escape, said Lucius's wand is broken and he. . .he killed him."
Alasia's face had an angry frown, "A different wand?"
"Lay," Harry spoke quickly, "Back when I saw him, when he flew next to me — my wand. . .my wand worked by itself. It flew towards Hedwig. . .and golden flame burst out of it. I don't know what it means or why it happened but Hedwig's gone, and I think it's connected to the vision."
Alasia stayed quiet for a moment before nodding, "You both have the same wand."
"What?"
"Did he ever tell you that?" She looked up, "Dumbledore? That you and Tom have the same wand? The same core and build?"
"In passing," Harry replied, "What's it got to do with this?"
"Everything." Alasia said. "Your wands are sisters. When Tom was this close to you, yours recognised him. Golden Flame was a symbol of it. Only, it happened to have focused on the wrong thing, I suppose. Hedwig was in proximity."
Harry looked at nothing as he slumped, "I'm putting everyone's life in jeapordy."
"Harry," Alasia smiled gently, patting his arm. "When you're provided with something this big, you recieve it with an open heart. Your mother loved you so deeply that she protected you even after death. Mad-Eye was willing to sacrifice himself only so you could be safe with us. George lost his ear and he's still smiling. Don't make their choices your own. If they are happy, you don't get to take that. Recieve. This is the time, kid. You might not have it again. Take it, willingly and openly."
"And what of the guilt, Lay?"
"The guilt can be shadowed should it refuse to leave," She shrugged. "You have Ginny for that, and Ron and Hermione. We all did so much last night. Sirius is still. . ." Her throat closed up. "He still hasn't woken up. Don't hurt us, do it for them. Do it for your godfather. I don't want him to wake up and ask if we were successful and me having to tell him that you left."
