Good Times

-A month later-

I still don't like the way Ash has been acting, but I told him that as long as I'm there to watch, he could see the girls, at least that made him happy. After Ash left, the girls wanted to know why I had to be there when their dad was around and why they couldn't see him more.

Me- That's the way that it has to be right now.

Sky- Why? Daddy hasn't done anything wrong.

Oh great, I have to tell them why now.

Me- Girls sit down please.

Sky- This is never good.

Me- Daddy tried to hurt himself a month ago and had to stay in the hospital for a little while.

Sky- But he seemed fine today.

Me- It's because he is starting to feel better that's why.

Sky- That's good , that's the daddy we want.

Me- Good, that's the one you guys will get.

I hate having to tell the girls that stuff, but they need to know it though. I just hate how it makes the girls feel when something like this happens, but at least, for right now, they have their daddy in their lives. I just want them to have all of the good memories that they can with Ash. Lord knows that he is trying with these girls and doing a good job with them. I just hope that he doesn't do anything to mess this up. I know that I shouldn't think that, but with his track record, it's hard not to have that in the back of your mind.

-The next day-

Me- Girls, get up. Uncle Andy and Uncle Jinxx is coming over to hang out with you guys for a while.

I asked those two to come over and watch the girls while I spent a few hours alone with my little brother, Desi. I've missed spending some one on one time with him.

-5 minutes later-

I heard the door bell ring...

Sky- I get mommy.... Who is it?

Andy- It's Uncle Andy and Uncle Jinxx angel. Can you please let us in?

Sky- Yes Uncle Andy.

Sky could barely reach the door knob, but she was wanting to help out though. Sky and her sister have grown up so fast. When she was able to get the door open Andy scooped her up and hugged and kissed her. Then Jinxx gave her a hug and kiss too. They both love the girls so much.

Andy- Did you open the door all by yourself?

Sky- Yes, I did. I big girl now.

Jinxx- Yes you are angel.

Jinxx walked behind me and whispered......

Jinxx- We are going to have to watch her like a hawk, aren't we?

Me- Oh yeah, but I have faith in you guys. If you think that you can't handle it call Jake to help you out.

Jinxx- Okay, our back up is on spend dial.

Me- Okay, you guys know the drill. You know where the numbers are, what they are, and where I will be at. Call me if you need me. Jinxx, no junk food and candy.

Jinxx- Okay no junk food and candy for the kids.

Me- I was mostly meaning for Andy and mostly no candy for him. You know how he gets.

Jinxx- I know how he is without it.

Me- Good point, use your judgement on that one.

Jinxx- Yes ma'am.

I gave all of them a hug and a kiss bye and went to meet Desi.

-An hour later-

I don't know why he wanted to meet at this place for, but I'm not going to complain, I'm getting to spend time with my little brother. I walked in and saw Des.....

Me- Des, why here?

Des- I thought that you might like the show.

Me- Drag Queens Of L.A., I'm friends with some of them. They have been trying to get me here for months.

Des- Well now you're here, so sit back and enjoy the show sis.

Me- Hey, what the hell? From what they've told me about the show, it will be amazing, so bring it on.

We both laughed, I missed having time with Desi, we need to do this more often.

-2 hours later-

I get a phone call from Andy, Ash was there and out of his mind drunk and scaring the kids. Des and I rushed to my house, I called 911 while I drove home to get the cops there to arrest Ash for doing that. Just when I think that I can go and have fun with my little brother, Ash does this. Desi and I got there before the cops did and I went to get the kids, when I got to the door and opened it, Sky runs up to me crying....

Sky- Mommy, why is daddy doing this?

Me- I'm not sure baby, but go with Uncle Desi and Uncle Jinxx outside okay?

Sky- Okay mommy.

Des and Jinxx took the girls outside.

Me- Ash, what the hell are you doing?

Ash- Trying to see my kids.

Me- Ash you're drunk, you know you can't see the kids when you're like this.

Ash- Why not? I'm fine.

Me- Ash you're beyond drunk and you scared the girls. I called the cops on you.

Ash started towards me like he was going to hit me. Andy held him back. This isn't Ash, he has never done that before. I'm scared to know what the girls saw him doing.

Andy- Ash, you almost hit Jinxx and me in front of the girls. You need help.

Ash- I don't need help, I need my kids.

Me- You're not getting them ever. I'm officially taking them from you.

Ash- You can't do that.

Me- Yes I can. You are a danger to them and yourself. No more visits with them or anything. I don't even know if I even want you to be their dad anymore or not.

Ash- El, please don't do this.

Me- Ash, you did this to yourself!
