The next morning, I woke up stretching my arms out. The birds were singing outside, the sun shooting a beam on my face. So that is how I woke up. I yawned, rubbing the sleep out of my tired eyes, then got up. I remembered the events of last night. I grinned to myself, remembering Sasuke was coming over since we had no missions for today. I got up, rushing to the bathroom. I went to brush my teeth and all the needed things. I took a quick shower, then got out and put on my ninja outfit. I put my headband around my head and ate breakfast. When I was done, the doorbell rang. I opened it to find Sasuke, he was dressed in his usual clothes. I smiled at him and allowed him to come in. He sat on the couch, I went over and sat next to him.
“Are you okay?” I asked, seeing he had a thoughtful and sad look on his face. He looked up at me.
“Yes.” he replied. I kissed him, he slightly kissed back.
“Are you regretting last night?” I asked. Then I realized how weird that sentence sounded. It wasn’t like we had sex or anything.
“No, of course not.” he replied serious, I knew he wasn’t lying.
“What’s wrong then?” I asked.
“Well, I don’t know if I can tell you.” he said, hesitant. I leaned back in my chair. I knew he wasn’t used to speaking a lot.
“Okay, I won’t pressure you.” I said, rubbing his back. He closed his eyes, enjoying it. He then opened his eyes, and kissed me. I smirked into the kiss. He pulled away.
“What?” he asked.
“You are so adorable.” I teased. He rolled his eyes, getting up and sitting on my bed. I stood up as well, sitting next to him.
“Hey, what would you do if I left the village?” Sasuke asked, uneasy.
“IF you ever left the village, I would get you back.” I replied, not getting it.
“What if it was to gain power? To kill my brother?” he asked. I sat up straighter, my eyes catching his gaze.
“Then I would allow you to.” I replied simply, my eyes softened.
“Are you sure you wouldn’t follow me?” he asked. I sighed.
“Where are you getting at?” I asked.
“No where, just asking.” Sasuke said casually. I stared at him for a moment, then let it drop.
“Okay.”
“I have to go.” he replied after a couple minutes of silence.
“Why?” I asked. “You just got here.”
“I uh, need to go do something.” he replied, I was about to answer but he closed the front door, stopping me. I turned on my Medera, reading his emotions. He was sad, determined, angry, and regretful. My head dropped, I let out a long sigh. I turned the Medera back off.
“What is he doing?” I murmured, then decided to shake it off. I went outside my front door, looking for Sasuke. Already gone. I walked to the forest, taking out a couple of kunai, aiming them at a tree. I got the tree right where I wanted it, then I heard a groan and something fall behind the tree. I got up, looking to see what it was. All I saw was a blur of black, and I turned to see what it was. I saw the person, my breath caught in my throat. I nearly collapsed to the floor, my eyes shut as I tried to convince myself I wasn’t correct. I re opened my eyes. Shock filled the other person’s face as well. The boy walked up to me, I looked up at him, my eyes huge. My heart was beating like crazy. For how long has this person been here? All this time, all this pain I had endured because of this boy. Well, he was one of them who caused such pain in my heart. My hand reached up to touch his face, tears spilled out of my eyes as I realized he was real. It wasn’t an illusion.
“Michelangelo.” I whispered. He smiled softly.
“Hello, sister.” he whispered back, happiness in his eyes.
