Harry Potter: The Chosen One?

Rumors continue to fly about the mysterious recent disturbance at the Ministry of Magic, during which He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was sighted once more.

"We're not allowed to talk about it don't ask me anything," said one agitated Obliviator, who refused to give his name as he left the Ministry last night.

Nevertheless, highly placed sources within the Ministry have confirm the existence of such a place, a growing number of the Wizarding community believe that the Death Eaters now serving sentences in Azkaban for trespass and attempted theft were attempting to steal a prophecy..

"How are they allowed to print that?" Ginny interrupted Hermione, who was reading the Daily Prophet aloud to Ginny and I at breakfast.

"It's news," I said. "And at least it is somewhat accurate..."

"Did I tell you about the stuff that Rita had them print about me in 4th year?" asked Hermione. "Awful, and not one bit true."

"And mum thought it was, she thought that you were really playing Harry!" laughed Ginny.

"Oh gosh it sounds horrible," I said.

"Ah, here they bring in Harry...

The nature if the prophecy is unknown, although speculation is rife that it concerns Harry Potter, the only person ever known to survive the Killing Curse, and who is also known to have been in the Ministry on the night in question. Some are going as far to call Harry Potter the "Chosen One, " believing that the prophecy names him as the only one who will be able to rid us of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named."

"Sounds like Harry is back in the limelight," said Ginny.

"Yeah," said Hermione, setting the news paper down.

"I have been having the best time here," I said to Hermione.

"It has been fun," said Ginny agreed.

"Too bad that we have to go back tomorrow," Hermione shrugged.

"I am kind of excited to go back," I said.

"That's just because you want to see Fred," Ginny teased.

"I want to see the ring again," said Hermione eagerly.

"Fine," I said, extending my right hand to Hermione, who touched the ring gingerly. "I should go feed the cats," I said when she was done admiring my ring.

Riley and Crookshanks were now the best of friends, they were never separate. Right now, they were meowing impatiently at me for not feeding them sooner.

"Here you go," I said, waving my wand and the bowl filled with food. I know what you are thinking, I can't use magic during summer, but I still have the pass from Dumbledore signed by some ministry worker that lets me practice magic to catch up. I am caught up, they just thought I should still have it. Hermione disapproved of me using magic, she thought it was like an award for missing 4 years of school. Ginny on the other hand liked that I could still use magic, I was the one who dried her nail polish that Hermione put on her fingers so they wouldn't get ruined.

It honestly has been a great week with serious girl time. We have had fun. But we would all be going to the Burrow tomorrow.

That evening we got the letter for Dumbledore.

Dear Hermione, Ginny, and Lily,

If it is convenient to you, I shall pick you up from the Granger Residence tomorrow at noon (12:00) to escort you three to the Burrow where you are to spend the remainder of your school holidays.
