Professor Umbridge's speech was extremely long. My eyes wondered over the Great Hall, over to the Slytherin table.

Draco had his body guards on one side, his girlfriend on the other. His eyes darted away from mine, as if he was looking at me. I looked away again, then darted my eyes back to Draco, and I caught his gaze. I winked.

Soon, I was staring at the flickering candles above me. I didn't even notice when Professor Dumbledore dismissed us. I went over to Ron.

"Hey, what is the password for the common room?" I asked him.

"Minbulus Mimbletonia."

"Okay, thanks," I said as I walk towards Harry.

"Hey, Lily," he greeted me, ignoring the looks of passerbys.

"Hiya, I got the password, we are good to go," I told him.

"Oh, I almost forgot to get the password," Harry shook his head. We began walking out of the Great Hall. "Lily, I noticed that Malfoy was staring at you during dinner."

"Was he? I didn't notice, there was a lot of people staring at us, you know," I replied sarcastically.

"Just.. know that he is bad news, okay?" Harry told me. I looked up and saw worry in his eyes.

I never liked Draco as a book character. He seemed so snobby and rude to everyone, even his own friends. Plus, he never tried to change who he became. He just did as he was told, like one of those people who suck up to their bosses. He was just the average mean character. But, then, I reminded myself, the other day at the bookstore, he did show me kindness. I don't know what to think of Draco Malfoy.

Plus, it would be horrible if I cared for Draco? Harry would be so mad at me, and I could loose the only family I have. My mind was saying two different things to me. I don't know which one to listen to.

Harry and I continued down the corridor to the common room and dorms. I noticed foot steps behind us, but Harry's mind seemed to be somewhere else.

The footsteps continued to follow us. They were light on the floor, so I assumed it was a girl.

When the footsteps got really close, I whipped around, to see Cho Chang staring daggers at me. When Harry noticed that I stopped, he turned to meet my gaze. When he saw Cho, he stood straighter.

"Hello, um, Lilo?" she asked me, but it was obvious that she knew my name.

"It's Lily," I said, extending my hand, smiling kindly. She looked at it before she shook it, like my hand was a donkey hoof.

"I'm Cho," she said as she shook my hand. "Harry can I have a word with you?"

"Sure thing, Cho," Harry smiled at her and pranced to meet her.

I watched them walk away. Then I realized, too late, that I had no idea where the common room was. I started to walk around, past groups of Ravenclaws, trying to find an escort to the dorms. As I turned the corner to find an empty corridor, I saw Draco Malfoy.

I walked slowly towards him, giving him a smile.

"Hey," he said, nodding at me awkwardly.

"How's it going?" I asked

"You didn't tell me you were family with Potter," Draco said, then frowning at his weird answer.

"Well, it's not like you asked," I laughed. "You probably would have acted weird if I did tell you, anyway."

"Well, you are probably right. I probably would have acted differently," he said with his eyes moving down to the floor.

"Does it really matter that Harry is my twin, Draco?" I asked him. When I said his name his eyes met mine. He looked over me once more.
