Friday's extra Charms was making me stress out, I didn't know how well I would handle being in the same room as Draco without any of my friends. I made sure that Fred and George would be outside waiting for me the minute the class was over. Well, they actually offered and then didn't take no for an answer. Gotta love the twins.
"Hey, Potter," said Draco when I entered the classroom. I ignored him and went to sit in the midst of friendly Hufflepuffs.
The minute class was over, I practically ran from the classroom and searched for Fred and George.
"Lily!" I heard a voice from behind me, thankfully it was one of the twins and Angelina.
"Hi guys!" I said, walking up to them. I saw Draco leave the class and look over at me. I looked away first, feeling bad that thinks had to be this way.
I got a closer look at the twin and saw that it was George.
"How are ya doing, Georgey?" I asked.
"How can you tell Fred and I apart?" George asked.
"Even I have trouble with it," Angelina said. "And I've known them since first year."
"There are subtle differences," I shrugged. Honestly, Fred was slightly bigger than George in height, and they had different smiles. I thought it was easy to tell them apart.
"No there's not," said George. "Fred and I are identical, I refuse to believe it."
"Okay, drama queen," I said, turning to Angelina as we started to head in the direction of the common room. "How are you, Ang?"
"Can't complain," said Angelina, smiling at me.
"Nice," I said, looking to George.
"Hey, gang," said a voice from behind us. It was the other twin, Fred. "What did I miss?"
"Just Angelina confessing her undying love for Oliver Wood," joked George. Angelina rolled her eyes.
"But we already knew this?" Fred said, pretending to be confused.
"Oh, right, it was actually Lily proclaiming her undying love for myself," George said, putting his arm around me, which I ducked under, blushing.
"Suuure," said Fred. "I think we all know that her undying love is for me."
"In your dreams," I snorted.
"Exactly,"' said Fred, winking at me. I chuckled.
When we finally made it to the common room, I broke away from the group to find Hermione.
"Lily, look, I'm getting really good at knitting!" she proclaimed, holding up a blob of yarn with two needles stuck in them.
"Sure," I said, smiling at her kindly and grabbing my own knitting needles and yarn. Hermione and I were trying to learn to knit, something I thought wouldn't be so complicated but turns out, it was a bitch.
"Well, it's getting there," said Hermione, shrugging.
"Yep," I said, glaring at my own yarn mess. I fooled around with the tangled mess when, thankfully, Harry came up to me.
"Want to go flying?" he asked, holding Ron's broom.
"Yes!" I said, dropping the wool and hopping up.
We walked together to the Quidditch pitch, catching up on each other's lives."It seems like you have been spending a lot of time with the twins," Harry said, smiling slyly.
