Draco Malfoy forced me down a steep flight of stairs, holding my hands behind me and putting me in danger of slipping and breaking my neck at any moment. At the bottom was a heavy door. He unlocked it with a tap of his wand, then forced me into a dank and musty room. As he turned away, I called out."Malfoy, wait!"
He froze, becoming tense with an air of uncertainty. Deciding, he turned.
"What?" the anger and resentment from earlier that lurked in his eyes had gone, replaced by curiosity.
"Does this mean...?"
"No, you're not a Death Eater, just a... forced accomplice."
I bit my lip as my chest tightened at the reality to the situation, I got myself into.
"Fuck you," I whispered.
"Excuse me?" he said, shocked.
"Fuck you, you coward!" I shouted. "Stunning him from behind--!"
"Nothing is fair in war, Potter," sneered Malfoy, the anger returning to him. "Watch your tone."
And with that, he shut the door. I was left in utter darkness.
I collapsed onto my knees, unsure of what to do. I didn't want to cry, logically. Emotionally, yes definitely it was a cry-worthy situation, but I didn't know how much they would logically care for my basic human needs, such as water. I didn't want to dehydrate myself...
My survivor mode clicked on. My eyes began to adjust to the lightless hole. I could make out the close walls, stone, but nothing beyond that. In the silence, I suddenly became aware of the rhythmic sound of someone breathing. Ollivander!
"Hello?" I said, loudly.
There was a muffled sound of movement.
"Who is there?! Show yourself!" called an elderly voice.
"Mr. Ollivander, it's me, Lily Potter."
There was the scrambling sound of him getting to his feet.
"Where are you?" he asked.
"I'm still by the door, I think," I said, reaching for the wood that locked me in. My hand found the rough surface. "Yes, the door."
"My dear, how are you here?"
I took in a deep breath and explained the day's events.
"The Ministry wasn't anything reliable, anyway," the man huffed. "But now they have the power of law..."
"I need to get out of here," I whispered. "There has to be a way out..."
"It's escape proof," Ollivander, slumping against the wall to sit against it.
"Nothing is completely hopeless," I whispered, getting onto my hands and knees to feel a dirt floor. "Digging?"
"Nope."
I wandered around the room. It was about twenty feet by fifteen. It seemed to once have had a wooden floor, there were odd nail-sized holes spaced identically vertically in the dirt. I continued to search each hole, perhaps a nail had been left that could be a tool of some sort.
"Gotcha," I whispered as my fingertips touched a cool, grimy surface. I dug my nails into the dirt, pulling the nail out. I wandered (there was no clear directional path I could take) back to the door.
"What did you get?"
"A nail!" I exclaimed.
"That's not of much use," Ollivander said pessimistically.
