Chapter 6: The First Death...

" Oh, oh my... You sure got rowdy... " Himeno said as she saw Power carrying Y/n on her back. " Shut up... " Y/n whined as Power placed him on a seat near Aki. " I think I'll pass on the arcade for now... My body feels weak to execute EWGFs today on the arcade. " Y/n said to Aki weakly as he made a peace sign.

" Sweaty nerd. " Hakos said as it drank beer. Y/n was about to scold Hakos about drinking alcohol but he then remembered that Hakos was not as the same age as him already so it wasn't a good idea to utter out a word. " Touche... " he said as everyone laughed. " What? Not ballsy to scold your demon? " a devil hunter jeered as Y/n scoffed. " Hakos is a LOT older than me, scolding it will be a misconception in my part. " Y/n told the devil hunter as he then ate what Power ordered.

" I don't even know what my age is... I just know I am as old as Hell itself. I don't know, roll a dice. " Hakos told as it was already drunk already. " HEY! Come on! Eat yer food already so we can order more! " it said as its personality became a bit wilder than before. " Is there a karaoke here?! " it asked as Y/n tried to subdue it.

" Goddammit Hakos! " Y/n shouted as Hayakawa stopped him. " Let him have his fun. It's not as if he can do anything that will wreck the store. " he said as a voice laughed. " Was I late for the party? Besides, Hakos is a good singer. Though it shapeshifts to a rat kemomonomi when it does sing. " the voice said as Y/n wanted to approach the man in question.

It was Auron and beside it was robots carrying a huge ass karaoke set. " I was under the impression that we were investing in a music bar in this place. I think this would be a nice place. " Auron said as Hakos grinned. " Of course you would, you are rich like a Mishima Zaibatsu. " Power said, taking the words out of Y/n's mouth.

" Hold on, we'll try setting these up. " Auron said as he and the robots were setting up the Karaoke set. " Can't wait to try this out... " Hakos said as Himeno, Denji, and some of the devil hunters agreed.

" Everyone is partying... Why aren't you joining? " a voice said as Y/n, who had now slightly recovered and was drinking juice turned around and saw Makima. " Oh, it's you... " Y/n stared at Makima as he added, " I don't work well with crowds, so I suppose I would be staying outside. "

They then could hear Hakos singing in an unnaturally beautiful voice as everyone cheered, making Y/n sigh. " I'll be hitting the arcade. You wanna come? " he asked as Makima giggled. " Are you asking me out? " she teased as Y/n shook his head. " Not really, I don't wanna betray Power ya know? I just feel anxious alone. " Y/n said and then was about to walk away when Power dragged him.

" So there you are! I got worried!

Thanks Tomato Head for stopping him. " she said as Makima smiled. " You have so many people who love you dearly. Don't waste your time being alone. " Makima advised as it made Y/n feel uneasy with what Makima said to him.

' Why does it feel so threatening... ' Y/n thought as he drank away his uneasiness with another helping of orange juice.

Midnight....

" Hay naku... Bakit ka kasi lasinggero?(Goddammit, why are you such a drunkard?) " Y/n complained as he tried to carry Hakos. " Hayaan mo na, minsan lang naman ito(Let it slip, it's just a rare occurrence.) " Makima told as she carried Power and Hayakawa. What Makima said surprised Y/n as she knew how to speak Filipino.

" Oh, you also speak the cursed language. " Y/n joked as Makima giggled. " I went there multiple times back then. I went and learned it on the way. " she answered as they dumped the drunks in the back of the car.
