"Ne ne, Yoriichi! Isn't it pretty?!"
Rimuru excitedly shows Yoriichi a flower chain. He looks just like a kid waiting for his praise.
But Yoriichi doesn't know how to treat kids. He looks at the flower chain and then speaks with the same emotion:
"Not pretty, uneven, skilless."
His words went right through Rimuru's fragile heart...
He immediately falls on his knee...
"I know I'm just a new learner...
But do you have to be honest like that??!!"
Yoriichi doesn't care much, he just simply takes the flower chain up, fixes some parts, and gives Rimuru his result...
Hick!!!
Seeing his mess after going through Yoriichi's hands immediately changes into beautiful art, he receives another critical blow... trying to save some of his pride, Rimuru growls at him...
"You've learned it already, have you??"
But to his unexpected...
"No, this is my first time."
Rimuru's face looks really calm, but inside... a storm of anger is ranging uncontrollably...
Are you kidding?!
Do you know how hard to make that??!!
Lately, the kids in this merchants group often take him and Tomie out to play, they even taught him a lot of interesting things, one of them is making flower chains ~
But it is easier to talk than do, he couldn't count how many times he practiced, how many failures he created to create that chain... but that man made a better one on his first try...
Unfair!!!

6 days have passed since the first day they meet Tomie's family, soon, they will depart the next day...
"Rimuru, you really planned to stop at that town?"
"Um, Yoriichi is heading there so I follow him."
Tomie sighs, though they have only met for a short time, they are really attached to each other, Rimuru is not an exception...
This is the first time he feels this feeling...
The afternoon air is really comfortable... Rimuru sits next to Tomie, they quietly watch the dusk...
"Ne, Tomie... tomorrow, I and Yoriichi will depart with you guys...
Thanks for helping me last time. It's really fun to stay with you guys.
Thank you, very much..."
Tomie is smiling brightly, though she will miss him a lot, she won't intervene in his adventure.
"Um! Tomorrow we will depart from the town... so tonight my family want to hold a party (again) ...
Remember to join us!!!
Rimuru smiles at her:
"Um! Why not!!"
Tomie put her hand on her chest, her heart is beating very fast.
She then smiles and hugs Rimuru:
"Come one! This won't mean we will never meet again!
If fate let us then we will reunion soon~"

Evening...
They are laughing together, singing together... Rimuru hugging a little girl, shaking his head to the song rhythm...
After the first talk, this little girl (the one who asked about Rimuru's eyes) and Tomie become clingy to Rimuru, they took him out to play every day... after some time, Rimuru becomes their good friend~

Early morning, the sky is a little brighter though the sun hasn't come out of its sleep yet, cold fresh air filled the area...
"..."
Tomie is hugging Rimuru, crying the bucket out... and yesterday someone just said that they will be okay with a smile!
Rimuru pats her head, his warm voice rings in the air:
"Yosh. Stop crying. Didn't you say that we will meet someday?"
Tomie sobs nonstop but still nods firmly... but she still feels sad!!! She continues to cry making him panic.
Rimuru then sighs, patting her back, patiently waiting...
After some yea- I mean, some time...
"Tomie!! Stop clinging to him!!"
Her mother gets impatient, pulls her back, and throws her in the cart. She then starts to apologize and gives them a bag of food...
"This is some fruit for you, I've packed some medicine, too, you two don't have to worry about food now! And, remember to protect your health... ..."
Her probing makes Rimuru feels warm... they have only met for some days but Tomie's family is very nice to them...
He really treasures their time together...
"Wa- Wait!"
A little girl runs toward him – the same girl who has asked Rimuru about his eyes... she is breathing heavily in front of them, in her hands is a flower chain, she shows it to Rimuru, she tells him:
"T-This, I've made this for you... this is my goodbye gift!"
Rimuru slowly knees down in front of her, he carefully wipes the sweat on her cheek, looks at her eyes with his beautiful golden eyes:
"Can you put it on me?"
She dazes, then smiles happily:
"HAI!"
She carefully puts the flower chain on his head, keeps fixing its position, he laughs at her:
"Do I look pretty?"
"Y-Yes!"
"Ano... C- Can I hug you one last ti-" – she asks with a low voice, but before she could finish, Rimuru took her in his embrace:
"Thank you... I really like this gift!"
"Re-Really?..."
"Um! Really! Thank you!"
