So... the thing is... Rimuru got targeted by the Spirit of Time and got kicked into End of Time and Space (Ciel got blocked and couldn't save him), then bonus a free trip to KNY! maybe you all has been use to my writing style... NOT A SINGLE...
He wants to catch up with him, to tell him that everything was just a joke...
But he isn't brave enough to do so...

The last light of the afternoon slowly fades... leaving behind the eternal dark...
Yoriichi leaning against a tree, remembering their conversation this morning...
"I hope you can leave Rimuru back, I love her."
Yoriichi frowns at his words, his voice only shows coldness:
"Rimuru is a boy."
Takashi freezes, his mouth keeps mumbling "impossible...". Yoriichi seeing him like that just sighs:
"If you don't have anything to say, I'll take my leave."
There is no reply so he just simply stands up and heads to the door, but Takashi stops him, his eyes show determined:
"It doesn't matter... I like Rimuru's personality, I don't care about his gender... so please, let me protect him."
"I think that he will be fine with me."
Takashi immediately laughs like a madman:
"Will it really be 'fine'? You are a demon slayer and fight demons, but now you carry a weak person like him. Have you ever thought about his safety?"
Yoriichi frowns, his voice cold:
"I believe that I can protect him."
"But you can't give him a normal life! Yoriichi... leave him here with me... think for him... you can't give him a normal life... but I can. He won't have to go through your deadly adventure if you leave him here."
Back to the present...
Yoriichi turns his gaze up to the moon... he has never thought of Rimuru as a burden or something similar, he even thought that he was very lucky to be able to meet him... But he has to say it... he needs Rimuru to leave him... he thought that it's better for Rimuru to stay back... he doesn't have to walk on this dangerous path with him... here has someone who loves him, the people here will look after him carefully...
But something is still disturbing him... Yoriichi chooses to stop thinking about it...
He closes his eyes...

Midnight has come... but Rimuru hasn't returned...
Thump!
His heart beats faster... he falls into panic... he heard some maids saying that Rimuru still hasn't returned...
"What?!"
Yoriichi froze...
Rimuru?
He panicky runs outside and shoots his gaze around...
"Rimuru?? Where are you??!!"
The moon has disappeared behind the dark cloud... raindrops start to fall... Rimuru's presence slowly fades... Yoriichi just ignores his wet hair and keeps running... but like Rimuru has disappeared...
But he couldn't leave this town in a day!
Seeking hopelessly... Yoriichi suddenly remembers... he looks at where the forest is in disbelief...
Don't tell me... he ran into the forest??!!
The heavy rain has washed away all of the trails...
"Rimuru??! Where are you??!!"
Went into the forest at night means seeking death... is he mad?? Perhaps demons are still hiding inside it... and he couldn't fight probably... and he's sure that Rimuru knows about his own weakness...
Then why?? Why did you go into the forest??
Many questions grow inside his head, he keeps calling Rimuru's name. Rimuru's cold eyes flashed through his mind... Yoriichi feels like he could get mad at any moment... he fears that he will never see that smile again...
Yoriichi keeps running, and doesn't stop calling Rimuru's name... but it is useless... the rain couldn't wash away the smell...
The smell of demons...
The smell of blood...
And the smell... of Rimuru...
Yoriichi's eyes turn dark... he wants to slap his face, hoping that this is just a dream and he will wake up soon...

Under the heavy rain... 6, 7 corpses lying on the ground... demons...
But lying in the middle of the bloody scene... a human... a human with silver-bluish hair, some places on their beautiful hair got dyed with blood...

Yoriichi lost all of his scents... he just lifelessly approaches the little figure on the ground... his hand gently touches their hand... pale... and ice-cold...
He tries to stay calm, carefully flips the body up... the face that he doesn't want to see most...
Rimuru...
His heart feels cold... his blood froze... he can't breathe...
His hand touches the little boy's face... his heart aches...
Rimuru is still breathing... but his breaths are weak like can stop at any moment...
Tries to keep his consciousness, his voice trembling so much that he couldn't recognize it's his:
"Rimuru... wake up... please... I beg you... if you don't wake up... you will die... so please..."
Rimuru doesn't respond to his words... his body got injured badly...
Three stabs... his right arm and left leg are broken... several cuts on him... some even reach his bone... his cloth dyed with blood...
The healing power won't work if he stays unconscious...
Yoriichi panicked... the person who used to bright as the sun... now is lying lifelessly in his arms... he hugs the body as tight as possible, like hugging his precious... using his body to cover him from the rain, calling the name in desperate:
"Rimuru... please... wake up... I'm begging you... Rimuru..."
"..."
"Yori..."
The sound is very small like an illusion... but for Yoriichi, it's the like a bell ringing next to his ear...
"Rimuru... don't be afraid... I'll bring you back... don't be afraid... don't..."
His eyes have found their light... he stands up, carries the body in his arms, doesn't stop calling his name. He forces his weakened legs to walk... he must save him... save the little angel of his life...
