CHAPTER 26 : WE MEET AGAIN

Since Naruto is still recovering from his mental health issues, Kakashi is taking over his role as the Hokage for a certain time until Shikamaru is back from the Kage's summit on renewing the peace treaty. A few weeks later, Kakashi received a report from the Hidden Sand nation. Kakashi request to summon Sarada and Kawaki to come to the Hokage's office to meet him.

- Kakashi : Nishi (The person that supposed to guard Boruto & Kawaki before Kawaki went to meet Code to negotiate with him), can you get me Sarada and Kawaki? I would like to assign a mission for them.

- Nishi : Yes lord sixth, I'll go now and get them.

Nishi arrives at Sarada's house and meets Sakura to relay the news. Sakura calls her to come down and listen to Nishi's report.

- Sarada : What is it? I've just woken up from sleep.

- Nishi (bows his head down showing respect to Sarada) : I'm sorry to bother you captain. But Lord sixth has summoned you to the Hokage's office.

- Sarada : Fine then, wait outside and give me a minute ok.

A few hours have passed and Nishi is getting tired while ranting to himself "What the hell is she doing this long? Did she go back to sleep?" Sarada appears from behind him "I heard that you know. Huh men, always can't wait, well then let's get going" Nishi was shocked and just stayed silent. Before they go, Sakura approaches her to have a short talk.

- Sakura : Huh. Looks like I'm gonna miss you again for a while since Kakashi sensei probably has a mission for you. Please be careful. Take care ok. (Sakura then hugs her)

- Sarada : Mama, you're doing it again. You're hugging me too tight again. I'm gonna be fine ok. Don't worry about it.

- Sakura : Oh sorry for overreacting. (Staring at Sarada's face while saying) you've grown to be a strong woman.

- Sarada : Of course I am. After all, I'm an uchiha & your daughter. Bye-bye.

Nishi told Sarada to go on ahead first because he needs to inform another person that Kakashi summoned. Sarada asked him who will be joining her mission? Nishi just replied back with "You'll know him very well." Sarada proceeds to go on ahead while Nishi goes to Naruto's house.

Nishi finally arrived at Naruto's house & knocks on the door. Hinata and Himawari greeted him. Nishi had a little talk with Hinata and informed her that Kakashi summons Kawaki. Hinata then tells Himawari to go and tell Kawaki about it. Kawaki is in Naruto's room looking after him. After Himawari told him, Naruto saw on Kawaki's face reaction that he only wants to take care of Naruto. Naruto then tells Himawari to go downstair and he's going to have a chat with Kawaki first.

- Naruto : What's the matter son?

- Kawaki : I think I'm not going. I know it's a mission request from Kakashi. I would rather be here taking care of you since you're still not feeling well enough yet. (In his mind he also feared about what Amado have warned to him)

- Naruto : Don't worry about me ok. Hinata & Himawari are here. You go on ahead with the mission. After all, It's been a while you haven't done one. You don't wanna get rusty ya know.

Several minutes later, Kawaki finally agreed to go and hug Naruto first before going. He comes downstairs. Himawari & Hinata hug him too.

- Kawaki : Come on guys, you're squeezing me tight (Nishi just laughs at him.)
