Kawaki and Maria arrived at Shikamaru's office. Eida's face immediately turned deep red upon seeing Kawaki's emotionless face as Daemon teased her and Shikamaru felt weird about them.
- Kawaki to Shikamaru : What do you want? Trying to interrupt my day.
- Shikamaru : This is Eida and her little brother Daemon.
- Kawaki : Tch.. Like I care..
- Shikamaru : Starting tomorrow, you'll be living with them.
- Kawaki : What!!! Why should I?!! I don't want to!
- Shikamaru : It's Eida's demand.
- Eida interrupts : Hello sweetie!! I've waited for so long to meet you!! Oh by the way, sorry for the loss of your bro. Even though you cried, you still look handsome.
- Kawaki (confused) : Huh?? How did she…
- Shikamaru : It's her eye's ability. The Sennrigan. She's able to hear & see what's happening in this world in real time. She's also able to look back into the past up until she was born.
- Daemon teasing Kawaki : Awww. Poor Kawaki.. What a cry baby..
- Kawaki (Walks forward & attempts to slap him) : Why you!
- Shikamaru to Kawaki : I wouldn't do that if I were you.
Kawaki's attempt to slap Daemon instantly flashed back at him. He then tried again but the same result occurred. Daemon continued to laugh at him. Maria was confused by what she saw so she called Sarada to come through communication headset.
- Shikamaru to Kawaki : I told you. He's able to reflect the opponent's attack even just by them having intentions of it.
- Eida interrupts : I'm surprised that Amado have told you that much. Anyways, I'm a bit satisfied now since he's now dead.
Kawaki heard what she was saying then he confronted her.
- Shikamaru : I'm sorry Kawaki.. But this is her demand. You'll be staying with them tomorrow.
- Kawaki : Did the seventh know and agree to this??
- Shikamaru : Nope. He doesn't know about this at the moment. There is a reason for it. So, I'm handling this issue for now.
- Kawaki : Tchhh!! What did you get by following her demands?!
- Shikamaru : She will give us intel regarding Code. These 2 people are former associates of his.
- Kawaki internal logue (Shocked) : Could this be her? (He remembers about his negotiation with Code that he said someone wants to see him)
- Shikamaru talks to Kawaki through Ino's mind transfer jutsu while acting normal : Listen Kawaki. I know you killed Amado. But for now I'll just let it slide because there's a bigger fish to fry. Do what she wants ok. Time is not on our side now. So it's better to keep them as our ally than to let them have another option to rejoin Code.
- Kawaki looks down while talking : Fine!
He then left the room. But before he closed the door, he said "If the seventh was here, he would have found another way to do it instead of forcing me to follow your orders". Kawaki slammed the door. Shikamaru called Naruto and told him about the current situation. After that Eida then reveals all about Code and the Ten tails but she doesn't know about Code's plan to use the Ten tail's minions to destroy Konoha.
