Picking up from the last chapter, While the AIBO scouts are guarding themselves until Boruto's Hidden Mist jutsu wears off, Boruto hides under his Earth-style Mud Dome to secretly use his Karma to heal back his wounds. The scouts were on high alert as they didn't want to make any rash moves as the fog obscured their visibility.
As he heals, his jougan suddenly activates without him realizing it. Boruto saw blood dripping down from his left wrist and realized that he was kneeling on water. He's now certain that he was in a different realm and was confused by it. Suddenly he heard a voice speaking from behind. Boruto turned his attention back to where the voice came from. Boruto's eyes widened, surprised that it was Momoshiki who was talking to himself "What a foolish lad.. Human child" (It almost looked like he was spectating Boruto's battle from the realm they're in now).
- Boruto : Momoshiki?!!!
- Momoshiki : It's been a while, Uzumaki Boruto.
- Boruto : Where am i???
- Momoshiki : I'm surprised, That you're able to see me in this realm. Which is almost impossible for a mere vessel to reach.. (Boruto remains silent)
- Momoshiki : Come to think of it, 18% of your body cells & organs were created from my own cells. Also, your right eye is the main reason you can get here and interact with me in this deep realm. (Momoshiki refers to Boruto's jougan).
- Boruto : You've not answered my question yet. Where am I??
- Momoshiki (smirks) : Hm. Why does it matter to you? Haha
- Boruto : You freeloader! I'm in the middle of a battle. I don't wanna be stuck here with you.
- Momoshiki : Have no fear, foolish one. Once you reach this realm, time does not flow nor do exist. Just like you've experienced before. (Think back to when Boruto fought Code where he collapsed on the ground and saw Momoshiki sitting on a tree branch). Since you are so curious, we are in the realm of Reincarnation. (The realm looks like a Jinchuuriki's realm like Naruto's)
