Kawaki goes to Ichiraku ramen to eat & buy ramen for Naruto at home. As he was walking away from the shop after getting his order, he overheard 2 AIBO shinobi whispering to each other about the feudal lords having a meeting with the AIBO President (Kazuya). Kawaki had some suspicions telling him that there was something wrong with their conversation. So he activated his karma to strengthen his sensory abilities including his hearing. (Karma patterns only spread in his palm).
They're whispering to each other that there's rumour spreading in the higher ups of AIBO plotting to sabotage & strip Naruto's hokage position because he's getting weaker. The meet up will be held at the elderly's house (Homura is his name)

SIDE INFO He and his wife made an appearance during The third hokage 'Hiruzen', Danzo & Itachi discussing how to handle the Uchiha's Coup D'etat retaliation against Konoha.
Kawaki gritted his teeth in anger & disbelief after hearing this then rushed out of the store. While he was walking home, suddenly his dharmagan & karma activated. He began to see images of Konoha and the entire world being destroyed by a shadowy figure. He also saw a great army in dark shadows coming to attack the earth. Kawaki said to himself " Why am I seeing such images!!" (At the same time, Boruto's jougan & karma also activated as he also saw the same thing like Kawaki did).

Kawaki tried to calm himself down and continued walking home. He is really scared & concerned now. Days passed and he continued to have the same nightmares while he slept.
As the sun set, Kawaki was resting on his favourite spot (Naruto's hokage stone face). He closed his eyes and reflected back on what he saw in his dream. Out of nowhere, Kawaki heard a man's voice calling his name. Kawaki ignored it at first, thinking it was just a dream until the voice kept calling him. He then sat back and looked back. Kawaki was surprised because the voice that kept calling him turned out to be Code.
- Kawaki : NO WAY!! CODE !!!!
- Code (Levitating in front of Kawaki) : Ahaa !! So you still remember me huh? It's been a while, Kawaki..
- Kawaki (Activates his karma ready to attack him) : WHAT DO YOU WANT!!!
- Code : Relax.. I'm here not to fight.. I just..
- Kawaki (interrupts him) : After all these years, now you've finally decided to show up??! What a coward.
- Code (irritated while staring at Kawaki) : As I was saying, I've come here not to fight..
- Kawaki : Then what do you want?!
- Code : To congratulate & give my thanks to you.
- Kawaki : What do you mean? I don't know what you're talking about, you shit head! Congratulations for what!
- Code : For weakening that old geezer to the point of him stood In front of death's door. (Referring to Amado)
- Kawaki inner logue (Looking at Code's hair & eyes) : Who was he referring to? His appearance has changed and the sensation felt immense.
- Kawaki (realises Code was referring to him defeating Amado) : NO WAY!! Don't tell me that..
- Code : Took a while for you to realise it huh. Huhh Oh well, I can't blame you at all since you're a dummy. Yes, because you've weakened him, I was able to be there just in time to lift my limiters off before he withdrew his last breath.Thank you for that. You've really done a huge favour for me. Although I was forced to sacrifice one of my 'comrades' for me to be able to escape from his annoying self destruct explosion occurred. (The comrade that Code was referring to was Erebus, Code left him behind before the explosion occurred)
