Cale Makar-CA

Plot-y/n has played for three different teams, including the Avalanche. The team signed her a contract so now she's staying with them for the next few years, Cale meets Y/n and they talk.

*Y/n's pov*
I've played in the NHL since I was 16. I started on the Dallas Stars, I got traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames and then to the New York Rangers

After the season with the Rangers, I went to the Colorado Avalanche. They signed me a 6-year contract, I was glad to be back in my hometown.

I was Mikko Rantanen's younger sister, that meant that I was from Finland but I had to move to Colorado for Mikko when he got traded from Montreal.

I was a left wing, but I saw a cute defenseman. He wore Number 8 and his last name was Makar.

I wore Number 14, we were at practice and Mikko introduced me to him. He said "Hey my name is Cale, Your Y/n right?"

I said "Yeah, it's nice to meet you Cale." He smiled and went back to practicing with Landeskog another fellow Swede on the team.

We were in Finland for the NHL global series, that meant Mikko and I were in our actual hometown for the week.

I was so excited about it, Mom and dad were going to be there for the series. I was in Cales line and I was ready to play in my hometown.

We played against the Columbus Blue Jackets. On Friday we won 6-3 and Mikko had a hat trick, Cale scored a goal as well.

I scored a goal, Cale and I shared a room at the hotel. He said "so are you from Colorado or somewhere else?"

I said "I'm from Finland, that's why this global series is so important for me. My parents came to watch me play and it was just a special moment."

He said "that's why you and Mikko look so alike. Where'd you play before you came to Colorado?"

I said "Dallas,Toronto,Calgary and New York. They all didn't like the idea of having a girl on their team."

He said "did they ever give you hate on their social media accounts?" I said "No not really, their fans did though."

He said "I'm sorry for that, but I'm glad that your here in Colorado." I smiled and said "thanks Cale, you're really sweet."

He smiled and said "thanks y/n, can I tell you something?" I said "Sure Cale,what's up?"

He said "I'm in love with you, I have been since you joined the team" He kissed me and I kissed him back.

Mikko walked in and said "uh I'm not even going to ask, but I can tell you guys just confessed your feelings." We chuckled and spent the night together.
